Job Title: Digital Content Creator 

Department/Business Unit: Marketing

Reports to: Director of Social Media 

Status: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt 

 

Job Summary

 

We’re looking for a highly creative, Digital Content Creator to support the Director of Social Media in executing a best-in-class content engine. This is a hands-on role focused on creating and managing social-first content, including video, photography, and supporting blog content. 

This role is ideal for a strong visual storyteller who can plan, shoot, edit, and publish engaging, social-first content across channels.


You’ll play a key role in bringing campaigns to life, elevating brand presence across the U.S. and Canada, and supporting franchisees in building their local social presence. This role requires a balance of creative execution and professionalism, with the ability to operate effectively within a regulated industry.


Responsibilities/Duties


Content Planning & Execution

  • Execute against monthly social content calendars
  • Create platform-specific content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more
  • Align content with brand campaigns, seasonal moments, and business goals
  • Use insights from social listening tools to inform content ideas and optimize performance

 

Content Creation 

  • Create social-first content from concept to publish, including scripting, filming, editing, and posting
  • Capture high-quality video and photography using professional equipment and mobile devices
  • Apply strong shooting techniques (lighting, framing, audio, composition)
  • Edit engaging, platform-native videos using tools such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro and CapCut
  • Select appropriate audio, music, and sound design to enhance video performance
  • Create supporting graphics and visual assets using tools such as Adobe Illustrator and AI design platforms (e.g., Freepik)

 

Creative & Storytelling

  • Work with experts to translate tax related content into clear, engaging, and shareable content
  • Write video scripts and develop compelling storylines for short-form and long-form content
  • Bring fresh, trend-aware ideas to continuously improve performance
  • Utilize AI tools to enhance ideation and content development
  • Partner with SOCi to create and maintain AI generated post calendar
  • Demonstrate intermediate graphic design skills, including typography and visual composition

 

Franchisee Partnership & Support

  • Communicate with franchisees to help them succeed on social media locally
  • Share content ideas and best practices with franchisees for local use
  • Support franchise development initiatives through social content
  • Support the adoption and effective use of social tools (e.g., SOCi) across locations

 

Publishing, Outreach & Community Support

  • Schedule and publish content across all social platforms, update franchisee marketing calendar
  • Support social outreach, engagement, and community interaction
  • Assist in responding to comments, messages, and brand mentions
  • Support blog strategy by publishing website content, maintaining existing posts, and generating new blog ideas that align with SEO best practices and overall marketing objectives

 

Compliance & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Tax Compliance and Legal teams to ensure all content meets regulatory and brand standards
  • Maintain accuracy and ensure content follows established compliance processes and approvals
  • Collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Chief Marketing Officer, and cross-functional teams
  • Support real-time content needs, campaign launches, and brand initiatives
  • Monitor and review franchisee-created content for alignment with brand standards and compliance requirements; identify opportunities for content repurposing and support approval processes as needed

 

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Monitor content performance and platform analytics
  • Track content performance and contribute to monthly reporting
  • Use tools like SOCi and social listening platforms to track, analyze, and optimize content performance

 

On-Site Content & Event Coverage

  • Attend and capture content at company events, franchise office visits, interviews, and internal events
  • Produce both video and photography content in real-time and for post-production use


Qualifications 


  • 2–4 years of experience in social media content creation or digital marketing
  • Proven experience in video production (filming + editing)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom), graphic design tools, and design resources (e.g., Freepik)
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling
  • Hands-on experience with Mirrorless Cameras and professional video equipment
  • Experience with social scheduling and management tools
  • Strong scripting, storytelling, and audio selection skills for video content
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with social listening tools to support content decisions
  • Experience with AI-powered creative tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, generative design/video tools)
  • Familiarity with design and asset platforms (e.g. Freepik, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut, Envato, etc.) 
  • Experience with social listening and analytics tools (e.g. SOCi, Sprout Social, Meltwater, etc.) 
  • Strong understanding of short-form video editing styles and platform trends (TikTok, Reels)
  • Experience working in a regulated industry


Education and Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in social media management, with a track record of developing successful social campaigns.


Physical Requirements

 

The position requires working at a desk at the corporate office for periods of up to eight hours
