As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you'll be part of a talented and driven team of creative advisors who champion the Texas Mutual brand. You will take the lead in utilizing Marketo for customer communications, events and stakeholder education. You will also oversee data and analytics for the Marketing team and contribute to other digital marketing efforts, including website and content optimization, social media and SEO.
We are looking for someone who is a self-motivated problem solver, enjoys experimenting and is proactive in implementing new ideas and tactics.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

What you'll do:

  •  Manage our marketing automation platform, Marketo, including executing email campaigns, maintaining the database, overseeing integrations and troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Develop, maintain and execute targeted email programs to promote products, services and events.
  •  Own and update the email marketing calendar and collaborate cross-functionally to create engaging copy and design.
  •  Develop, maintain and optimize email templates.
  •  Contribute to email content creation, including drafting and reviewing copy.
  •  Identify and implement strategies to mature the use of our automation platform, including personalization, segmentation, customer needs and more.
  • Analyze email, website, social media and SEO performance using Google Analytics. Reporting on insights and recommended optimizations.
  •  Ensure compliance with email deliverability best practices, while staying current with marketing and website technologies, production techniques, and software enhancements.
  •  Support website and content optimization and execution of digital marketing campaigns on social media.
  •  Contribute to other digital marketing projects, including paid social advertisements and posts, website platform integration and efforts and SEO.

What you’ll bring:  

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training or experience. 
  • At least two years of experience in email marketing and automation or equivalent education, training, or experience.
  • Experience with writing and editing marketing and communication content.  
  • Proficiency in social media platforms.   
  • Basic image editing knowledge through Photoshop, Illustrator and other Adobe products.  
  • Google Analytics experience or certification.
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS.

Texas Mutual Pay Transparency

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.

Base Pay Range: $39.73 - $49.08 Per Hour

Texas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
