The Digital Marketing Specialist will manage paid search marketing campaigns, overseeing campaign performance and following PPC best practices, while collaborating and mentoring with senior team members.
The Opportunity:
As a Digital Marketing Specialist you will be an individual contributor responsible for building, launching, managing and growing an assigned portfolio of paid search marketing campaigns. You will work collaboratively within a team of seasoned digital marketing professionals but will also be expected to operate autonomously and follow Ziff Davis Shopping's documented PPC best practices to guide these campaigns toward specific performance goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate with minimal guidance as an individual contributor and own campaign management end-to-end
- Own a tier 1 campaign portfolio (novice-level complexity)
- Follow documented best practices to manage, maintain, and grow assigned portfolio through active campaign management (including ownership of ad copy maintenance and testing, bid/budget updates and keyword mining)
- Communicate portfolio performance, challenges and escalations to manager(s) through weekly 1:1s, daily check-ins and ad-hoc outreaches
- Review best practice documentation regularly and mentor with more-senior campaign managers to hone paid search skills and knowledge
Job Qualifications:
- 1-2 years paid search campaign management experience
- Fundamental-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (including basic formulas)
- Fundamental-level knowledge of Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation Range
Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is $70,000 to $80,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
