Job Summary/Description:  

The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for developing and growing digital revenue by partnering with Media Executives to identify client opportunities, develop effective digital marketing strategies, and deliver measurable results. This position serves as a digital expert, helping clients and sales teams maximize the impact of digital, streaming, social media, and other multimedia solutions. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, creative, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven sales environment, including in-the-field meetings with prospects and clients.

Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Collaborate with sales leadership to accomplish station and team goals
- Drive digital revenue growth and achieve revenue targets with a focus on new local direct business
- Support the Director of Sales in training the local team on an ongoing basis
- Assist Multimedia Executives in planning, reviewing, rehearsing, presenting presentation and closing business
- Work with the sales leadership team to develop sales collateral
- Ensure successful campaign execution, tracking, delivery, optimization, and reporting to ensure campaign success
- Maintain professional working relationships with our clients
- Work at a partnership/consultative level as an expert in advertising solutions with Multimedia Executives and clients
- Work in operational systems including Wide Orbit, Matrix, Microsoft Office, and others
- Support accounts receivable, cash-in-advance, and credit processes
- Assist in the development of pricing and packaging to fulfill the needs of both clients and the station
- Assist with the management of inventory
- Accurately forecast sales revenue
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:

- A proven leader with the ability to work independently, think ahead, and put into place action items that need to be accomplished
- Strong positive attitude with a result-oriented mindset with passion for the media landscape and helping local Media Executives and Clients be successful
- College degree preferred
- Prior media sales experience is required; prior leadership experience is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and prioritize projects and people
- Experience with digital advertising
- Competitive, energetic, and a self-starter
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record; MVR check required at hire and monitored continuously
