This role combines cutting-edge NetSuite SuiteApp development, automation, and leadership opportunities that will challenge and grow your technical and strategic skills while working alongside some of the world's most inventive companies.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most inventive and fast-growing companies, expand your technical and leadership skills and lead NetSuite projects, helping our clients solve their most complex and business critical needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong software development background, expertise in automation, and a passion for building scalable and efficient solutions. This role will also be responsible for driving the standardization and automation of tasks (code testing, deployment, and infrastructure management) to improve efficiency and speed up the release process and developing a roadmap of SuiteApp solutions to be released in NetSuite’s SuiteApp Marketplace.

Specific technical experience required:

  • Programming knowledge: (eg: Java, Python, C++, Ruby, Swift)
  • Understanding of databases: SQL, NoSQL, or cloud-based solutions
  • Expertise in systems integration, design patterns, and performance optimization

Responsibilities:

  • Team Development
    • Mentor and coach junior professionals by fostering skill development, promoting best practices, and encouraging collaboration through open feedback and knowledge-sharing initiatives
    • Actively participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to enhance team knowledge and code quality
    • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to project team members
  • Development & Delivery Quality
    • Demonstrate solid functional knowledge of NetSuite and ability to analyze the effectiveness of business operations and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Participate in client business development activities including client meetings, preparation of proposals, statements of work and development of project estimates
    • Lead NetSuite-related projects including implementations, integrations, and enhancements by applying best coding practices, conducting code reviews, and ensuring deliverables meet scope, quality, and timeline goals
    • Create and integrate automated testing frameworks to improve the reliability and efficiency of quality assurance processes
    • Ensure projects’ accomplishment of desired scope, timeline and quality and follow Connor Group defined best practices and approaches
  • Solutions Development
    • Work with CG leadership to establish the vision, strategy and roadmap for development and release of SuiteApp solutions
    • Design, develop, and release scalable SuiteApp solutions using SuiteScript and SuiteFlow while ensuring they meet NetSuite marketplace standards and integrate seamlessly with third-party systems
    • Create and maintain detailed documentation, including technical specifications, workflows, and user guides for SuiteApp functionality

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or the equivalent
  • 8+ years of system / application implementations experience, preferably ERP or other financial systems, with a proven track record – experience owning end-to-end development processes
  • 5+ years of direct NetSuite implementation, upgrade, and support experience or in-depth knowledge of NetSuite cloud platform, integration capabilities, data migration conversion tools
  • Leadership / management experience including developing junior developers/engineers
  • Expertise in systems integration, design patterns, and performance optimization
  • Programming knowledge: (eg: Java, Python, C++, Ruby, Swift)
  • Experience with testing and debugging tools
  • Understanding of databases: SQL, NoSQL, or cloud-based solutions
  • Experience working with SaaS-based products and technologies like SOAP, REST, XML, WSDL, XSD, UDDI and JSON
  • Experience in NetSuite customizations using SuiteScripts, SuiteFlow, SuiteAnalytics, Advanced PDF Templates, REST API integrations, SuiteBuilder, CSV Import/Export modules
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn, a strong sense of accountability and a proven track record of delivering results
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%, including international travel

Other Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and/or key financial processes such as Quote to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, etc.
  • NetSuite Administrator certification or equivalent experience
  • Exposure to ASC-606 (revenue recognition)
