Role Overview:

 This position oversees and manages the accounting department.  The Director of Accounting is responsible for keeping all accounting projects on track and ensuring that financial statements are issued accurately and on time.  This person will lead the maintenance of all accounting systems and work inter-departmentally to ensure all reporting needs are met. We are looking for a high-energy individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented team environment.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing the preparation and review of financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Developing and implementing internal controls and procedures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Managing relationships with external auditors and other financial stakeholders to ensure that the company's financial operations are conducted in a transparent and responsible manner.
  • Support leaders in understanding and leveraging financial data while providing insightful recommendations
  • Supports organizational financial objectives by providing financial analyses and recommendations
  • Oversee financial system integrations and maintenance including but not limited to UKG, Concur, and Big Commerce
  • Drive and manage projects aimed at enhancing business processes and increasing efficiency.

Role Qualifications:

  • Include 10 years of progressive accounting experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting 
  • Active CPA
  • Familiarity with the following types of platforms: Accounting platforms such as FinancialForce, Concur expense reporting platform and Avalara tax reporting platform

Fair, Competitive Pay: We ensure equal pay for equal work, using consistent salary bands based on market benchmarks, reviewed annually. Prior salaries, negotiation skills, or fear of conflict don’t influence your pay.
Salary Range: $112,500 - $138,500, determined by your experience, skills and internal equity.
