About Us

Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who’ve shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. We have raised over $175M with support from top-notch venture capital firms and more than 18 strategic investors—industry leaders in construction, building products manufacturing, and distribution.

Higharc is seeking a strategic and exceptionally well-connected Business Development lead to build and activate the relationships that turn into pipeline across the homebuilding ecosystem. This is a high-EQ, outward-facing role — you'll own how Higharc shows up in a tightly networked market and how those connections convert into real opportunities for Sales.

What You'll Do

You'll own Business Development at Higharc: generating high-quality leads and opportunities by building a network of trusted relationships across builders, partners, and influencers. This is the work of getting in the right rooms, earning trust, and connecting people and problems in ways that create demand.

Designing events matters as much as attending them, and connecting people to each other matters as much as meeting them yourself. You'll unlock pipeline through collaboration and well-timed strategic plays — from VIP dinners and builder roundtables to podcast appearances and the surprise intro that changes someone's quarter. Throughout, you'll know who's who, what they care about, and how Higharc fits.

You'll have strong support from Sales and Growth Marketing, but you'll drive your own outcomes. The leads and opportunities you generate will shape which builders choose Higharc, how fast they adopt, and how deeply we expand across their organizations.

Expect to:

  • Generate pipeline through outbound business development, building trust-based relationships with builders, partners, and influencers.

  • Build a repeatable referral engine: get in the room, deliver value, and leave with three new intros.

  • Design and lead high-impact experiences, from builder and partner happy hours and roundtables to webinars, roadshows, and co-hosted content.

  • Drive partner and influencer engagement by identifying key players, co-creating campaigns, and activating strategic plays that generate demand.

  • Stay plugged into the ecosystem — know who has pull, who knows who, and how to connect the dots.

  • Hand off well-qualified, well-contextualized leads to Sales, and partner with Growth Marketing on co-branded content and event strategy.

  • Stay close to Implementation and Customer Success to turn active customers into references and champions.

  • Track what works, own your number, and continuously refine your approach.

About You

You're a natural connector who treats relationships like assets. You build networks, not lists — you're remembered as helpful and trusted across the industry, you follow up, and you bring people along for the ride. You have an authentic love of the game: you like the hustle and you're great at it. You bring ideas and turn them into real-world opportunities without waiting for permission or a playbook, and you know the difference between noise and signal well enough to focus your time where it actually converts.

You operate independently and outcome-first, but you're just as comfortable brainstorming with Marketing as you are riding along with Sales. When someone says "I'm trying to solve X," your instinct is "I know someone who can help — let me introduce you."

You have:

  • 5–10+ years in business development, partnerships, sales, or GTM roles focused on high-value B2B relationships.

  • A strong sense of ownership and the confidence to operate independently and drive your own number.

  • Excellent storytelling and listening skills — you make others feel heard, and you tell a damn good story when it's your turn.

  • A talent for spotting and activating partner leverage — working with the right players to generate real pipeline.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.

  • Willingness to travel to the events and markets where relationships are built and pipeline is made.

A major plus if you also bring:

  • Experience in or adjacent to homebuilding, construction tech, or AEC.
