JD SUMMARY
The BI Director drives executive-level insights for account and executive management through the creation, preparation, presentation, and dissemination of advanced analytics and reporting.
RESPONSIBILITES
- Work on cross-functional project teams to gather core intelligence, sometimes in disparate systems, to generate key trends and insights
- Develop and augment BI platforms and applications and/or coordinate and oversee the development of these items
- Develop and successfully implement an overall account plan designed to enhance the value of the client's portfolio from a BI visibility and technology perspective
- Be comfortable interfacing with senior management and executives through a white glove delivery
- Provide expertise with regards to service line best practices and industry-standard analytics and data practices
- Anticipate client needs, think strategically, and remain solutions-focused to be both proactive and reactive as the situation and circumstances dictate
- Recruit, manage and train any additional / necessary BI staff to meet or exceed our client's objectives
BUSINESS QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in Analytical roles or Business Intelligence roles
- 5+ years of CRE experience
- 5+ years of data benchmarking experience
- Advanced degree and significant on-the-job experience
- Comfortable working within a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment
- Relentless intellectual curiosity and a drive to excel at the highest level
- Project management skills to move projects/tasks forward
- Must be detail-oriented and able to focus with frequent interruptions
- Maintains confidence and protects operations of business by keeping information confidential
TECHNOLOGY QUALIFICATIONS
- Data center and system implementation, Power BI/TRIANA Specialist
- Process and Tech Stack Mapping
- Expertise in Power BI (i.e., Triana), Tableau, SQL, and Alteryx
- Expertise in all Microsoft applications and software
- Experience with data visualization, automation, warehousing, and extraction techniques
- Comfort with large complex internal/external data sets
- Experience working in various programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is preferred.
