Overview:

Supply Network Operations is looking for a Senior individual to assist with running the Global Operations of Mitel’s Supply Chain. As part of the role the successful candidate must have broad systems knowledge and ability to understand key Supply Chain Metrics and assist in defining and tracking improvement initiatives to their successful completion. Each initiative must be tracked from a finance and timeliness to ensure they are delivering the required benefits. The successful candidate must have good collaboration skills and can work across multiple organizational disciplines and regions to achieve needed results.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the leader of the supply chain with driving business transformation

  • Drive any day-to-day issues to support the leader of the supply chain.

  • Gate keeper to all improvement initiatives.

  • Assist in defining roadmaps for the future supply chain.

  • Ensure all transformation initiative take best in class practices for future supply chain goals.

  • Coordinate senior directors and vice presidents involved in supply chain transformation.

  • Provide regular readout to leadership and sponsors.

  • Manage the financial aspects of supply chain operations

  • Provide thought leadership and facilitate cross functional problem solving across company's supply chain network

  • Drive proper reporting of financial benefits of transformation programs into finance.

Requirements:

  • Budget management.

  • Proven success in project coordination roles.

  • Business mindset with focus on developing creative solutions.

  • Reporting and tracking capabilities.

  • Demonstrated leadership & communication skills at the executive level; comfortable with presenting to the C-suite when needed

  • Strong expertise in analysis of P&L’s, financial viability of potential suppliers, food cost models and supplier’s cost formulas

  • A sense of urgency related to the day-to-day supply chain activities.

  • Strong Change Management skills

  • High integrity individual with Strong Leadership skills

  • Knowledge of ERP & Standard cost systems

  • Ability to prioritize work to best fit the needs of the Company and its customers.

  • Ability to work under pressure from internal and external sources and to adjust to rapidly changing circumstances due to personnel issues, time constraints, inventory problems, planning errors, etc.

  • Ability to “role up the sleeves” and get involved in problem solving at a detailed level as necessary.

  • Strong track record of success in transformation Supply Chain leadership and decision-making.

  • Understanding of the following functional areas:

    • Master data Management
    • Material Planning and forecasting
    • Inventory Management
    • Order Management and fulfillment
    • Transportation and Distribution
    • Negotiations
    • Standard Costing
    • Business Law Concepts

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

  • Experiencing in the Unified Communications or Telecom industry strongly preferred

  • Strong Communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Strong collaborative skills.
