Job Description:

Title: Director, Client & Partner Marketing

Team: Phreesia Network Solutions

Location: Remote U.S., with occasional travel required for client meetings, industry events, conferences, and team collaboration. Priority for those local to NYC/ Tristate area and in ET/CT time zone regions in U.S.

Why This Role Exists

Phreesia Network Solutions partners with pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotech, agencies, and other healthcare organizations to reach patients and healthcare providers with personalized, privacy-safe communications. Our annual media programs are re-sold every year, which makes the strength of our client relationships the single biggest driver of retention and growth.

As Director, Client & Partner Marketing, you will own the work of deepening and expanding those relationships. You will build a discipline around client marketing, advocacy, partner co-marketing, industry events, client experiences, and gifting. You will run our Client Advisory Board program. And you will take meaningful non-selling work off the plates of our sales team so they can focus on commercial outcomes.

You will lead a small team (one direct report at hire, growing to two or three based on your recommendation) and work cross-functionally with Client Experience, Client Solutions, Strategy, Market Development, and Creative. The role reports to the VP Marketing. That role is currently vacant, so you will report to the President of Phreesia Network Solutions in the interim.

What You’ll Spend Your Time Doing

Client marketing and advocacy

  • Build and lead a client marketing program focused on retention, expansion, and advocacy across the PNS client base.

  • Own the Client Advisory Board (CAB) program: charter, recruitment, agenda, and follow-through on insights.

  • Partner with Enablement and Marketing to develop case studies, testimonials, and outcomes content for PatientConnect, PSE, MediFind, and new offerings.

  • Build lifecycle campaigns from onboarding through renewal and expansion, in partnership with Client Experience and Client Solutions.

Partner Co-Marketing

  • Develop and execute joint marketing programs with strategic partners (e.g., Fierce and other industry media).

  • Produce co-branded content, webinars, and events that create mutual lead generation and visibility.

  • Define and manage partner tiers and benefits in partnership with Strategy and Market Development.

Events and industry presence

  • Lead marketing strategy and execution for key industry conferences (FPW, HealthFront, and others) and proprietary client events.

  • Own booth experience, speaking opportunities, on-site content, and field marketing in partnership with the sales team.

  • Manage the events budget and agency relationships.

Client experiences and gifting

  • Design and run a client experiences program: hosted dinners, intimate gatherings, sports and cultural events, special-occasion moments.

  • Own the gifting program: thoughtful, well-timed, on-brand, never generic.

  • Build the operating model and tools that let Client Experience and Client Solutions execute experiences and gifting at scale, without consuming selling time.

Cross-functional leadership

  • Partner closely with Client Experience, Client Solutions, Strategy, and Market Development to align messaging, audience insights, and campaign timing.

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a small team. Recommend team shape and hires based on the work.

  • Manage annual budget, agency relationships, and KPIs.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Have a strong relationship-building mindset and genuinely enjoy creating meaningful client experiences.

  • Thrive in highly collaborative environments and enjoy working across sales, client-facing, and marketing teams.

  • Are passionate about client retention, advocacy, and expanding existing client relationships.

  • Enjoy developing creative engagement programs that make clients feel valued and connected.

  • Have experience personalizing communications and experiences at scale.

  • Bring strong strategic thinking along with the ability to execute and operationalize programs.

  • Are comfortable presenting to senior client stakeholders and executive leadership.

  • Have experience building or scaling client marketing, customer marketing, advocacy, or loyalty programs.

  • Have successfully planned and executed conferences, events, advisory boards, or executive engagement programs.

  • Take a data-driven approach to measuring engagement, retention, and marketing impact.

  • Are highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced environment.

  • Are familiar with marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools such as Marketo, Salesforce, Google Analytics, or WordPress.

  • Have experience with point-of-care marketing, DTC pharmaceutical advertising, healthcare media, or related healthcare marketing environments.

  • Experience operating in an annual media buying cycle (Q3 planning, Q4 booking).

  • Have experience running a Client Advisory Board program.

We Do Have A Few Requirements To Check

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • 5+ years of marketing experience, including experience in client marketing, customer marketing, partner marketing, or related disciplines.

  • Experience within pharmaceutical, life sciences, healthcare media, or healthcare marketing environments.

  • Agency experience, either directly within an agency environment or through close partnership with media agencies such as Publicis, Omnicom, IPG, Havas, Tag, or similar organizations.

  • Prior people management experience.

This is a U.S. remote role. Occasional travel will be required for client meetings, industry events, conferences, and team collaboration.
