As we expand, we are adding a new role to our Continuous Improvement team. We are seeking a Director of Continuous Improvement who will lead the development and execution of strategic initiatives focused on improving clinical quality metrics and patient outcomes at Expressable.

The Director of Continuous Improvement leads the development and execution of strategic initiatives focused on improving clinical quality metrics and patient outcomes at Expressable.

What You Would Be Doing at Expressable
Develop and Lead Clinical Continuous Improvement Strategy:
Design and execute a comprehensive strategy aligned with clinical and business objectives.
Utilize Lean, Six Sigma, and other structured methodologies to drive measurable improvements in clinical metrics, patient engagement, outcomes, and satisfaction.
Implement Evidence-Based Best Practices:
Lead the development, implementation, and measurement of evidence-based clinical guidelines and practice protocols.
Translate research findings into standardized care models in collaboration with the Clinical Researcher.
Drive Quality and Operational Excellence:
Assess and improve upon existing metrics and monitoring systems to improve key clinical quality indicators, track clinician utilization and patient flow metrics.
Lead initiatives to optimize efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and improve clinician work satisfaction.
Lead and Mentor Cross-Functional Teams:
Directly manage the Clinical Researcher.
Partner across Clinical Leadership, Quality Assurance, Operational, and Technology teams to align continuous improvement priorities, conduct quality audits, integrate system enhancements, and present findings to executive leadership.
What You Bring to Expressable
Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field
Any Certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or equivalent continuous improvement methodology
8+ years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, or similar role
3+ years of experience in healthcare, clinical services, or regulated environments.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools
Demonstrated success leading cross-functional improvement projects with measurable results
Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Outstanding communication and presentation skills for all organizational levels (from clinicians to executives)
High proficiency with spreadsheets, scheduling tools, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Airtable, Tableau)
Strong attention to data accuracy and documentation standards across multiple systems

Operational and Systems Thinking: Ability to see and optimize complex clinical workflows, improve efficiency, reduce administrative burden, and translate research into standardized, evidence-based care models.
Communication and Influence: Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, capable of synthesizing complex findings and influencing stakeholders from clinicians to executive leadership.
Data-Driven Analytical Rigor: Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to assess metrics, track clinical quality indicators, and translate data-driven insights into practical improvements.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This is a sedentary, remote position that primarily involves working at a computer or tablet for telecommunications and documentation. The role requires the ability to remain seated for extended periods, operate standard office equipment, communicate effectively via video and audio platforms, and review electronic information. Occasional light lifting of up to 10 pounds may be necessary.
