Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.
To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.
About the Role
As a Director, Enterprise Account Executive at Veho, you will play a pivotal role in driving the next chapter of our growth. This is a hunter role, focused on the strategic acquisition of large enterprise accounts: identifying, pursuing, and closing partnerships with high-value shippers who choose Veho as their long-term last-mile delivery provider.
A great candidate:
- Has a consistent history of over-performance as it relates to hitting multi-million dollar annual revenue targets
- Is comfortable operating in the fast-paced, ever-changing world of start-up sales, building the playbook while driving deals forward
- Is a self-starter, eager to jump in and make an impact immediately
- Has a beginner's mindset, where you approach each conversation with curiosity
- You’re ready to learn the ins and outs of Veho’s solution to become a true “product expert”
- Is a leader and helps raise the bar for the whole team
What You’ll Do:
- You will be assigned a list of targets, and are expected to build a strategic plan for how Veho will approach each of them.
- You will conduct cold outreach as well as leverage Veho’s referral channels and events to generate net-new opportunities.
- You will progress deals from inception to launch.
- You will lead pricing proposals and negotiate Agreements that secure Veho’s volume with the client.
- This is a consultative sales role, in which you are expected to learn the operational requirements and needs of the prospective client, and propose a recommendation of Veho service levels, markets, and success metrics for the basis of the partnership.
- You will have the support of product marketing, competitive intelligence, and finance to win these clients – but assume there are many unknowns you may need to be comfortable working through as well.
- 30% travel is expected in this role, between conferences, on-site visits with prospective customers, and in-person time with our team.
What you bring:
- At least 7-10 years of experience in enterprise selling
- Logistics/Transportation industry for 2+ of those years is strongly preferred
- Proven track record of sales achievement
- Problem-solving and relationship-building mindset - Enterprise Account Executives at Veho go beyond the execution of a proven sales process by constantly experimenting and problem-solving to drive deal velocity and results
- Experience selling with data-driven, innovative products is a plus - Veho is bringing a completely new solution to the package delivery market
- Ideally, a rolodex of strong relationships with decision-makers at the top accounts Veho is targeting in the DTC cosmetics, apparel, perishables, supplements space, and other key segments. This could be Logistics/Operations/Transportation connections.
