Why This Role Exists:

We’re a fast-growing, two-sided marketplace with a portfolio of ancillary businesses. As the company enters its next phase of growth, the opportunity is no longer just scale—but leverage.

This role exists to elevate how we measure and manage the business by creating shared, enterprise-level metrics that unlock cross-sell, synergy, and compounding value across business units.

You will build an executive-grade view of business health—one that connects marketplace activity, ancillary services, and customer behavior into clear signals leaders can use to accelerate growth and profitability.

This is a business systems design role, powered by data.

The Mission

Build and lead a unified business intelligence and data governance function that defines the business model in metrics, connects operating signals to outcomes like EBITDA, volume, and growth, and establishes a clear, scalable reporting structure used by executives and operators alike.

You will:
  • Partner closely with executives and business owners to define and govern enterprise-level metrics, with clear ownership, definitions, and decision rights across business units

  • Establish a scalable reporting and metric hierarchy (executive → business unit → functional) that enables visibility, accountability, and alignment

  • Translate complex marketplace and ancillary-service operating models into shared leading and lagging indicators that highlight cross-sell opportunities and business synergies

  • Build a single, executive-grade view of business health that enables leaders to quickly see performance gaps, understand drivers, and prioritize action

  • Design monitoring and alerting frameworks that surface issues early, distinguish signal from noise, and explain why performance is changing

  • Create and run the operating cadence where business owners review metrics, diagnose gaps, propose solutions, commit to actions, and track results

  • Establish closed-loop feedback and accountability cycles—from insight to execution to ongoing measurement—ensuring actions taken are reflected in results

  • Stay hands-on in metric logic, data modeling, and analytical design while setting standards for rigor, consistency, and executive-ready storytelling

Must Have's:
  • 10+ years in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Strategy, operating at Director level in growth-stage or complex organizations

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Data Science, Finance or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • Proven ability to design data governance for metrics and reporting without slowing the business down

  • Strong business acumen with the ability to tie metrics to financial outcomes and growth levers

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Domo, AWS, dbt, and Python, and deep fluency in SQL

  • Experience aligning stakeholders, resolving metric disputes, and driving shared accountability

What Success Looks Like:
  • Executives operate from a single source of truth

  • Metrics are clearly defined, governed, and consistently reported across teams

  • Business discussions move from debating definitions to deciding actions

  • BI and data governance are seen as growth enablers, not overhead

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay

  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits with employer HSA contributions (US) and FSA options (US)

  • Immediately vested 401K (US) or RRSP (Canada) with company match

  • Paid Vacation, Personal, and Sick Time

  • Paid maternity and paternity leave (US)

  • Employer-paid short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, and AD&D (US)

  • Robust Employee Assistance Program

  • Employer paid Leap into Service Day to volunteer

  • Tuition Reimbursement for eligible programs

  • Opportunities to expand your skill set and share your knowledge across a publicly traded, global organization

  • Company culture of internal promotions, diverse career paths, and meaningful advancement
