About the role

Hippocratic AI is seeking a Director, Events Strategy & Experiences to build an experience-led events function that drives measurable business growth. You will set the vision for how events support account-based marketing, deepen customer and executive relationships, and contribute to pipeline.

This role combines strategic leadership, creative experience design, and operational command. You will lead a lean team and use AI agents and automation to expand the reach, personalization, and impact of our programs—from national conferences and trade shows to executive dinners and Customer Advisory Boards. Importantly you will proactively manage a strategic events calendar, securing key market moments and sponsorships that build Hippocratic AI’s brand and clinical credibility with our ICP.

What you’ll do
  • Set the event strategy. Define how events drive business outcomes at Hippocratic AI. Build an integrated event marketing strategy and calendar aligned with sales, partner, and segment priorities.

  • Elevate experience design. Create differentiated clinical-AI experiences that go beyond traditional formats. Set the standard for premium experiences at flagship and Tier 1 events.

  • Own business impact. Align programs to pipeline goals in partnership with Product, Sales, Customer Success, partners, and segment leaders. Own measurement of sourced and influenced pipeline, cost per qualified meeting, and event ROI.

  • Build a scalable ABM approach. Use AI account scoring, buying-group mapping, and account-specific content to personalize targeting, engagement, and follow-up.

  • Lead the team and portfolio. Coach a lean team across strategy, experience design, and execution. Oversee national conferences, trade shows, roundtables, executive dinners, and Customer Advisory Boards.

  • Scale through AI and automation. Deploy agents and workflows for invitations, briefing books, personalized agendas, CAB synthesis, recaps, and next-best-action follow-up.

  • Extend the value of every event. Turn sessions and conversations into reusable content and actionable insights that support ongoing account engagement.

  • Deliver with precision. Manage budgets, vendors, and logistics while maintaining high standards for execution under real deadlines.

  • Ensure executive leaders and teams attending are fully briefed with a Run of Show, confidently understand expectations of attending a conference for improved ROI (e.g. set # of meetings and tracked in HubSpot).

  • Manage spend and attendance for effective use of teams and resources.

Location and Travel

This is a United States-based role open to candidates across multiple markets. We welcome applications from candidates located throughout the U.S. Specific placement, travel expectations, and regional alignment will be determined during the hiring process based on customer proximity, deployment portfolio needs, and your location. You should expect regular travel, typically 25 to 40%.

What you’ll bringrequired
  • 10+ years of experience leading event or experiential marketing at a strategic level, with ownership of program direction and business outcomes.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • A track record of designing and delivering differentiated, high-impact client and executive experiences.

  • Strong commercial acumen, with demonstrated success connecting events to pipeline, revenue, and other measurable business outcomes.

  • B2B marketing experience in SaaS, healthcare, professional services, or technology.

  • Hands-on experience building AI agents and automations for targeting, personalization, synthesis, and follow-up.

  • Executive presence and the ability to serve as a credible thought partner to marketing, sales, and clinical leadership.

  • Experience leading and developing a lean team across strategy and execution.

  • Collaboratively partnering with all teams in Marketing to help ensure market moments are leveraged to their fullest potential for product launches, brand moments, and lead gen with ICP.

  • Strong command of vendor management, budgets, and event logistics.

  • Evidence of expanding event capacity and improving follow-through without proportional growth in headcount.

  • Ability to work remotely and travel frequently for events and experiences.

Preferred:
  • Experience supporting partner co-sell motions.
