About Verisoul

Verisoul catches fake accounts, AI bots, and fraud. We distinguish real humans from bots and bad actors for companies like P&G, Qualtrics, Clay, and VSCO.

Our Trajectory (Last 12 Months):
  • 9x YoY Growth: 9x ARR growth to $5.5M, scaled to 150+ customers.

  • Product Dominance: 92% competitive win rate.

  • Strong Backing: Raised $8.8M Series A.

Why this role exists

Events are one of our best channels. Some of what that’s looked like:

  • We bought 1,000 tickets to a Cincinnati Reds game and turned it into the market research industry’s biggest night out.

  • At a conference in Eastern Europe, we handed out Vericigs: branded cigarette packs with the tagline “We smoke fraud” and a warning label reading “Verisoul is harmful to bots.” A customer later told us that’s how they first heard of us.

  • Smaller mischief, too: a fake toy store booth, room service menus slipped under attendees’ hotel doors.

We want a full calendar of ideas at that level, owned by one person whose whole job is to dream them up and make them happen. That’s this role.

What you’ll own
  • Event strategy end to end: collaboratively decide which conferences we show up to, what we do when we get there, and the events we invent from scratch.

  • The ideas themselves. You’ll pitch concepts, defend them, kill the mediocre ones, and push the best past “that’s too weird” into “that worked.”

  • Execution: budget, vendors, venues, timelines. You’ll own this, but will get support from contractors.

  • Results: pipeline and brand lift you can point to, including the deals that start with “I first heard of you at…”

You’ll work directly with leadership and growth team (marketing & sales), with real creative license and budget when it matters. This is a mid-senior individual contributor role with no direct reports, but you’ll be supported with in-house and contractor resources.

What great looks like in year one
  • Two or three activations that people in our industries describe to colleagues who weren’t there.

  • A repeatable events engine: a calendar, a budget you manage like an owner, and a playbook for going from idea to shipped in weeks.

  • Sourced pipeline you can defend in a board deck, and at least one moment the whole industry talks about.

Who thrives here

You have a portfolio of weird bets that worked, strong opinions about why they worked, and the hands to execute: you can negotiate a venue, write a punchy tagline, and carry boxes, all in the same week. You know where the line is between irreverent and off-brand, and you like working close to it.

You’re strategic and scrappy. We’re growing rapidly, so you won’t be inheriting a playbook and processes. We hope your favorite case study isn’t just a well-run 10x10 booth, a badge-scan count, or a flawless vendor spreadsheet. This job is in Austin, in person, five days a week.

Compensation
  • Base Salary: $125,000-165,000

  • Equity Grant: 0.05-0.10% with 4-year vesting

  • Benefits: 401k match (4%)

How to apply

Skip the cover letter. Send a resume and two things to [application email/link]:

  1. Your best and/or favorite experiential idea you’ve ever executed: what it was, what it cost, and what happened after.

  2. 60-second pitch for a stunt you’d run for Verisoul in your first six months. No deck!

Our Values (SOUL)
  • Start from Scratch We solve problems from the ground up. Fraud adapts daily, so we approach problems with a beginner’s mind: challenging assumptions, asking the questions no one else is asking, and rethinking the current way. We focus on finding the best answer and learning something new, even if it means changing our minds.

  • Own with Optimism We own high-impact problems end to end. We are self-starters and self-finishers: we move independently when we can and orchestrate when we should. We believe there is a solution that will work, even when conventional wisdom says otherwise. That belief gives us the energy to push through challenges and accomplish the impossible, while having fun doing it.

  • Unique, Real, Human We help companies know that their users are unique, real, and human, and we emulate that in how we build Verisoul. We are building a company that should feel as distinct as the problem we are solving. We win by being unusually creative, unusually fun and joyful to work with, and unmistakably ourselves.

  • Long-Term Trust We are in the business of building trust. Customers rely on Verisoul millions of times per day: with their users, their data, and decisions that affect their entire business. Trust compounds slowly and can be lost quickly, so we build it through clarity, accountability, and follow-through.
