About the roleReporting directly to the CEO, you will own the full financial function — from budgeting and forecasting to internal controls and compliance. You'll serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, translating financial data into decisions that drive operational performance and long-term stability.
- Lead the financial strategy — partner with senior leadership to connect financial planning to the company's operational goals and growth priorities.
- Own budgeting, forecasting & cash flow — build and manage the financial plan end-to-end, ensuring stability and continuity.
- Deliver clear reporting & analysis — prepare timely financial reports and dashboards that give leadership the visibility they need.
- Strengthen controls & compliance — establish and maintain internal controls that keep the organization compliant and audit-ready.
- Build scalable systems & processes — refine financial models, tools, and documentation that will serve the company long after your engagement.
- Collaborate across the business — support operations, HR, and leadership teams with financial planning and cost management.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, with time in a senior leadership role
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, MS Finance, or CPA is a plus
- Strong command of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting
- Experience designing and enforcing internal controls and compliance frameworks
- Comfortable working across teams and communicating financial insights to non-finance leaders
- Experience with multi-state or high-growth organizations is strongly preferred
