Responsibilities

Altour is redefining how we partner with clients in the Enterprise and Key Account tiers—those regionally significant customers where structured engagement, growth focus, and program optimization are essential. The Director, Global Account Management, is central to this mission, leading a team of Account Managers/Directors and ensuring they deliver measurable value to clients while growing Altour’s share of wallet. This role blends strategic client leadership with a strong focus on talent coaching and development, acting as the bridge between the VP, Enterprise & Key Accounts and the frontline team.


  • Lead, coach, and mentor the Global Account Management team, driving performance, capability-building, and career progression pathways.
  • Partner with the VP, Enterprise & Key Accounts to design and execute strategies that grow revenue, optimize programs, and increase client satisfaction within the Enterprise and Key tiers.
  • Develop and maintain strategic client relationships, serving as escalation point for senior stakeholders and ensuring structured engagement through reviews, check-ins, and growth planning.
  • Ensure that KAMs/EADs execute against structured account plans, focusing on revenue growth, retention, and program optimization.
  • Embed consistent use of account management frameworks, tools, and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with Altour’s sales-led culture.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Sourcing, Marketing, and Commercial Operations to deliver seamless service and value realization for clients.
  • Identify growth opportunities across accounts, supporting KAMs/EADs in shaping proposals, cross-selling Altour services, and negotiating client agreements.
  • Track and report on team and client performance through scorecards, SLAs, and business reviews, escalating risks and driving improvement plans where required.
  • Champion innovation by leveraging technology, data, and new solutions to improve efficiency and enhance client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years in corporate travel, account management, or B2B client leadership, with at least 3 years in management role.
  • Proven success leading, coaching, and developing high-performing account management teams.
  • Strong client relationship skills with experience influencing senior stakeholders and driving growth within complex accounts.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to translate vision into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Deep understanding of the travel industry, marketplace trends, and client needs across the Enterprise and Key account segments.
  • Proficiency with account management tools, CRM systems, and performance dashboards; ability to analyze data and guide team decisions.
  • Collaborative leader with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
