About the Role

This is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing and managing our Global Google Marketing Platform (GMP) reselling and support operations. As the Director of GMP / Ad Tech, you will own the division's Profit & Loss (P&L), which includes financial planning, forecasting, and driving long-term success metrics.

Along with the financial accountability, you will be the driving force behind our operational excellence. You will be accountable for automation, process standardization, and the development of operational playbooks across the entire group. You will act as a strategic partner to our sales teams, a liaison to the Google GMP team, and a thought leader in the market. Leading a dedicated team of consultants, you will identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within our existing client portfolio while ensuring exceptional client relationship management and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Financial & Operational Leadership

  • Manage Division Revenue: Maintain full ownership of the division’s nominal P&L. Lead annual planning, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting against targets.
  • Drive Operational Excellence: Build global excellence across GMP by coordinating with global teams to design and implement improved management systems. This includes driving automation accountability, process standardization, and the rollout of operational playbooks for long-tail clients.
  • Monitor Performance: Track client performance, platform usage, and key health metrics to identify optimization opportunities and guide increased investment.

Sales Support & Strategic Growth

  • Strategic Sales Support: Collaborate with sales to identify potential clients, analyze market trends, and develop tailored strategies to approach prospects.
  • Pitch Development: Assist in developing sales pitches and proposals that effectively demonstrate how our Seamless GMP suite drives growth and creates value.
  • Expand Client Value: Partner with Client Success teams to build upsell and cross-sell strategies, introducing value-added services and tools across the portfolio.

Partnership & Thought Leadership

  • Google Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within the Google GMP (and GCP) teams to ensure access to resources and support for clients.
  • Innovation: Act as a forward-thinking partner by quickly trialing and adopting new GMP capabilities. Stay informed on new features and best practices within the ecosystem.
  • Market Presence: Act as a thought leader in the GMP space by publishing articles and white papers related to the technical, operational, or strategic value of the platform.

Team Leadership

  • Mentorship: Provide guidance, mentorship, and coaching to help the global consultant team achieve professional goals.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular check-ins against individual and group OKRs.
  • Culture Building: Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, initiative, and continuous improvement.
About You
  • You have a minimum of 6 years of experience within the digital industry, with at least 2 years working specifically as a paid media manager within a paid media specialization.
  • You have obtained Google Certifications in Campaign Manager 360, Search Ads 360, Display & Video 360, and Google Analytics (Google Cloud Certifications are highly preferred).
  • You are an experienced people manager capable of providing mentorship, managing OKRs, and fostering a high-performance culture across global teams.
  • You have deep technical expertise in Performance Max (Pmax), Value Based Bidding, and other Google tools/capabilities. You are also knowledgeable about product data feeds (e.g., Feedonomics).
  • You have a clear understanding of digital commercial models and have experience managing P&L, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • You are a strong communicator with experience working directly with commercial teams, presenting pitches to clients, and acting as a point of escalation for resolution management.
  • You have experience using data connectors for signal integration and are proficient with data analysis and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Looker, and ideally GCP tools (BigQuery, Vertex AI).
  • You are a strategic thinker who stays abreast of industry trends, consumer behavior shifts, and competitive threats to identify new business opportunities.
  • You have a proven track record of building strong relationships with technology partners, including Google, Meta, and various publishers.
  • You possess a college degree in a related field.

US Salary range: $160,000 - $210,000 plus bonus potential. Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time based on individual and company performance. However, the initial salary offer is based on several factors such as the individual's location, relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
