About the Director of Channel & Strategic Partnerships position 

The Director of Channel and Strategic Partnerships is a key leadership role responsible for driving company-wide revenue growth through innovative customer acquisition channels, network buildouts and strategic partnerships. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Office and plays a crucial role in expanding the company's customer base beyond traditional marketing strategies.

To do that, we need a Director of Channel and Strategic Partnerships to open new customer acquisition channels and methods. This is an opportunity to build and own a new role, working closely with senior executive, engineering, product and operations teams to develop and capture new acquisition channels as a key part of our continued growth. 

   

What You’ll Do


Strategic Partnership Development

    • Identify, evaluate, and secure high-value partnerships with complementary businesses to create new revenue streams and customer acquisition channels 
    • Develop and implement strategies to integrate partner offerings into the company's product ecosystem, enhancing overall value proposition 
    • Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that align with the company's growth objectives and financial targets 
    • Partner Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring mutual success.

    Innovative Customer Acquisition & Sales 

      • Devise and execute non-traditional customer acquisition strategies to reach untapped market segments 
      • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy that aligns with the company’s growth objectives, focusing on expanding market reach and driving revenue through indirect sales. 
      • Analyze market trends and consumer behavior to identify emerging opportunities for customer growth 
      • Collaborate with product teams to develop features or offerings that facilitate partner integrations and new customer onboarding

      Revenue Optimization 

        • Create and maintain accurate revenue models and forecasts for new acquisition channels and partnership 
        • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives and customer acquisition efforts 
        • Optimize pricing strategies and revenue capture mechanisms for partner-driven acquisitions

        Cross-Functional Leadership 

          • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of partnership integrations and new customer onboarding processes 
          • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and maximize the impact of partnership initiatives 
          • Present partnership and revenue growth strategies to executive leadership and board members

          What You’ll Need 

            • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred 
            • 5+ years of experience in revenue growth, business development, or strategic partnerships roles 
            • Proven track record of developing and managing successful strategic partnerships that drive revenue growth 
            • Proven track record of developing and growing new customer acquisition strategies or channels outside of traditional performance marketing 
            • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and strategy development 
            • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization 
            • Experience in industries that serve micro-SMBs with tech enabled services is highly desirable. 
            • The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a growth mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on unique opportunities to expand our customer base and drive revenue growth through innovative partnerships and acquisition channels.
