Job Description:
dentsuX is seeking a Director, Growth to join our team. In this hybrid position, you will report to our SVP, Growth and work closely with leadership across the growth organization. The primary office location is New York City, and we are also open to candidates in Chicago.
Responsibilities:
Harmonize the pitch team from day one. You will assign roles and responsibilities within your team by embracing and empowering your team members' strengths, diverse backgrounds, interests, and learning styles to sustain a high-performing media growth team that thrives internally and delivers positive results for its internal stakeholders and clients. You will ensure the team is well-grounded in the pitch process.
Manage the day-to-day growth team, ensuring the team is running the pitch process to agency expectations and is achieving designated tasks daily (such as backgrounders, database updates). You will keep the pitch team accountable to each other and to the story/solution we are solving. You will ensure the team is tracking towards long-term department goals and that team members are clear on personal growth goals and tracking towards them.
Champion the development of RFPs/RFIs and sales presentations. Drive best-in-class client service by tailoring our responses to customized client needs. Ensure submissions are consistently showcased and delivered in a premium fashion. Lead proposals / SOWs development internally, in partnership with operations and finance leads.
Drive expectations for senior-level reviews, ensure accurate timelines, and provide daily pitch updates. Develop winning pitch plans by collecting background information and cross-network information sharing. You will also be responsible for understanding brands and how clients' expectations coincide with market trends, ensuring our positioning and offerings are best-in-class.
Responsibilities specific to pitch meetings include:
Advise on how we build the chemistry meeting, including the storyline
Establish and support great chemistry across the core team
Establish clear roles for everyone to shine and participate in the client meetings
Ensure the pitch team is listening to feedback and incorporating back into the process
Adhere to schedules and allow ample time for rehearsals
Make sure issues are escalated early so they can be resolved
Ensure management is always up to date on all relevant pitch issues
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years working in digital marketing, media, or ad-tech industries and/or client-side marketing background with specific project/process management experience
Served as a part of a successful pitch team within the last eighteen months
Proficiency in new business processes and best practices
Proficiency with MS Teams, Salesforce.com, project management tools, and concepts
Editing/editorial background
Leadership skills that nurture creativity and integration while ensuring top-of-the-line service and timely results.

Additional Information:
The annual salary range for this position is $114,000-$150,000. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.

Employees who live within a commutable distance of one of our hub offices, currently located in Chicago, metro Detroit, Los Angeles, and New York City, are required and expected to work from the office three days per week (two days per week for employees based in Los Angeles). Dentsu may designate other Hub offices at any time. Those who live outside a commutable range may be designated as remote, depending on the role and business needs. Regardless of your work location, we expect our employees to be flexible to meet the needs of our Company and clients, which may include attendance in an office.
