Last Energy seeks a highly motivated Director of IT to join our IT department. This role will be responsible for managing the IT infrastructure and ensuring that all systems, applications, and networks are running smoothly. This role works collaboratively with internal employees and external partners.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Build and execute IT roadmap to ensure all users are secure and compliant
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the IT systems meet the business requirements
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on how they can be integrated into the existing IT infrastructure
- Ensure that all IT-related documentation is up-to-date and accurate
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Perform regular backups and ensure that they are tested and validated
- Ensure that all systems are properly licensed and comply with software vendor policies
- Other IT-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT
- Excellent technical knowledge of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networks
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders
- Experience in project management and managing budgets
