GGWP is a venture-backed company building AI-powered systems that help games and online communities stay safe, healthy, and commercially sustainable. We work with leading studios and platforms at the intersection of trust & safety, gaming, and applied AI.
The RoleWe’re looking for a senior, hands-on marketing leader to own GGWP’s external presence and revenue-adjacent marketing efforts.
This is an operator-first role. You’ll personally drive events, announcements, content, and thought leadership, while selectively leveraging agencies and contractors. Team headcount will come later as the company scales.
The role is scoped as Director of Marketing, but we’re open to:
- Senior Managers ready to grow into the role
- VP-level candidates willing to stay hands-on
You’ll work closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and the executive team. You’ll also be a core partner in shaping and evolving GGWP’s brand positioning and category narrative, in close collaboration with Product and the executive team.
ResponsibilitiesEvents & Field Marketing- Own conference selection and calendar (e.g., GDC, Gamescom/Devcom, and other key events)
- Define event strategies aligned to key accounts and pipeline goals
- Lead talks, panels, booths, meetings, and on-site content
- Drive post-event recaps and live/social amplification
- Lead customer announcements and press releases as buyer proof
- Coordinate closely with execs and internal teams on launches and messaging
- Build thought leadership across trust & safety, gaming, and AI
- Own content marketing (blogs, guides, explainers) tied to buyer education
- Shape timely commentary on industry and policy news
- Secure podcasts, panels, and expert appearances
- Own analyst relations at a program level
- Lead partner and co-marketing initiatives
- Own messaging frameworks, editorial cadence, and posting workflows
- Guide email nurture, website funnel priorities, SEO direction, and owned channels
Required
- 7+ years in B2B or platform marketing (gaming, SaaS, or adjacent fields)
- Strong operator mindset with end-to-end ownership experience
- Excellent writing, editorial judgment, and cross-functional communication
- Comfortable working in ambiguity
Preferred
- Experience in gaming, trust & safety, AI, or developer ecosystems
- Familiarity with enterprise buyers and longer sales cycles
