Job Summary:

The Director, OCIO Investment Operations is responsible for building and managing the operational infrastructure of the Mariner OCIO platform. This role owns investment operations, vendor management, workflow design, technology integration, and auditability across all OCIO client portfolios.

This is a build-and-scale role requiring strong judgment, operational rigor, and the ability to impose structure in a growing platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement OCIO operating procedures, workflows, and controls.

• Own OCIO investment operations including trading coordination, cash movements, and reconciliations.

• Manage relationships with custodians, fund administrators, OMS/IBOR providers, and data vendors.

• Ensure proper controls and full auditability of all OCIO actions.

• Partner with Compliance on testing, documentation, and regulatory readiness.

• Lead technology implementation for OCIO portfolio management and automation.

  • Support OCIO client transitions and onboarding.

Required Education and Experience:

• 10+ years of investment operations experience in institutional or OCIO environments.

• Deep experience with custodial platforms, OMS/IBOR systems, and data workflows.

• Strong vendor management and implementation background.

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Advanced degree preferred
