Job Title:Director of OEM Sales - Strategic Partnership

Role Overview:

This role is a senior member of our Global OEM Team, reports directly to the Vice President of Global PC OEM Sales and will lead one of McAfee’s most strategic OEM partnerships driving growth, expanding reach, and delivering our AI-powered scam detection and consumer cybersecurity to millions. You will own and expand our strategic partnership with one of our largest global OEM partners, driving growth and ensuring McAfee protection reaches millions of users worldwide.

This is a high-impact, visible role that calls for a partner-focused mindset, sharp business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
This position is located in the USA preferably either in San Jose, CA or Frisco, TX. You must be within a commutable distance from one of the locations. You may be required to travel to clients and you will be required to be onsite on an as-needed basis; when not working onsite, you will work remotely from your home location.

About the Role:

  • Drive Sales & Growth – Exceed sales targets, accelerate revenue, and expand business each quarter in partnership with McAfee’s executive sponsor, aligning on strategy and results in Quarterly Executive Growth Meetings.

  • Lead Strategic Partnerships – Build and strengthen relationships at all levels within partners, from C-suite to operational teams to drive brand advocacy, revenue, and shared success.

  • Champion AI-Powered Solutions – Use McAfee’s market-leading AI scam detection and consumer cybersecurity tools to engage customers, enhance partner value, and create competitive advantage.

  • Business Expansion & Innovation – Identify and capture new growth opportunities in consumer and SMB markets, acting as both a hunter and farmer.

  • Negotiate & Close – Lead complex, high-value software and services agreements that balance partner needs with McAfee’s goals.

  • Partner-Centric Execution – Deliver solutions that align with partner objectives, ensuring McAfee’s innovation and services exceed expectations.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership – Collaborate across marketing, product, finance, engineering, and legal to execute cohesive strategies.

  • Plan & Forecast with Precision – Monitor key metrics, identify trends, and adjust strategies to keep performance on track.

  • Deliver High-Impact Presentations – Prepare and present compelling growth strategies and business updates for partner executives and McAfee leadership.

  • Market Intelligence – Stay ahead of cybersecurity trends, competitor moves, and partner dynamics to keep McAfee’s edge sharp.

  • Travel & Engagement – Travel as needed for partner visits, events, and key meetings, with flexibility for occasional off-hours work.

About You:

  • 15+ years of proven success in sales or partner leadership roles within consumer cybersecurity, SaaS, SMB, or subscription-based software.

  • Strong understanding of the PC OEM ecosystem and how to drive growth through strategic partnerships.

  • Consistent track record of beating revenue targets, especially through large OEM or channel partnerships.

  • Highly data-driven, with the ability to interpret key metrics, forecast accurately, and adjust strategies to deliver results.

  • Experienced dealmaker with a history of leading and closing complex software and services agreements.

  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, comfortable engaging from C-suite executives to operational teams.

  • Collaborative leader who thrives in fast-paced, matrixed, and global environments.

  • Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, able to identify new opportunities and drive innovation.

  • Skilled presenter, capable of delivering clear, compelling updates and growth strategies to internal and external executives.

  • Flexible and travel-ready (20–30%) for partner meetings, events, and key business engagements.
