Madrivo is a rapidly scaling performance-focused company in a high-growth technology environment. Our culture values decisiveness, agility, and hands-on execution. We seek leaders with an owner's mindset who are data-driven and committed to continuous improvement.

The Role

We're seeking an exceptionally decisive, strategic Director of Operations to architect and scale the systems, processes, and technologies that power our entire organization. Reporting to the SVP of Operations, you'll be the operational engine driving our next phase of exponential growth.

This role demands a proven problem-solver and strategic decision-maker who thrives on autonomy, embraces complexity, and has a track record of transforming operational challenges into scalable excellence. You'll demonstrate strong executive presence, exceptional judgment under pressure, and the vision to build foundations that support multi-year growth.

What You'll Do

Strategic Operations Leadership

  • Own end-to-end operational infrastructure—systems, processes, and technologies that enable company-wide performance and scalability
  • Lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that directly influence growth, efficiency, and competitive positioning
  • Serve as strategic advisor to executive leadership on operational investments, resource allocation, and organizational design
  • Develop multi-year operational roadmaps that anticipate business needs and scaling challenges

Decision-Making & Problem Solving

  • Make high-stakes decisions independently with sound judgment, even with incomplete information and tight deadlines
  • Navigate ambiguous, complex situations by identifying root causes, evaluating trade-offs, and implementing effective solutions
  • Balance calculated risk-taking with operational stability; lead decisively during operational disruptions
  • Demonstrate consistent ability to make tough calls quickly and confidently under pressure

AI & Technology Innovation

  • Lead evaluation, implementation, and optimization of AI-powered tools and automation with measurable ROI
  • Pioneer emerging technologies that create operational advantages; drive successful adoption across the organization
  • Stay ahead of tech trends and proactively recommend solutions

Team Leadership

  • Build, scale, and mentor a high-performing operations team of 5+ direct reports
  • Foster accountability culture with ambitious standards, direct feedback, and clear performance expectations
  • Develop future leaders by investing in their strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities
  • Create career paths and succession plans that strengthen organizational bench strength

Operational Excellence

  • Establish KPIs, build dashboards, and leverage analytics to drive continuous improvement
  • Design scalable workflows that eliminate bottlenecks and improve cross-functional collaboration
  • Manage operational budgets with strong ROI focus; negotiate effectively with vendors and partners

What You Bring

Required

  • 8+ years in operations management, with 4+ years leading operations at Director level in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Proven track record managing high-performing teams (5+ direct reports), including building structures, delegating effectively, and developing talent
  • Direct experience implementing AI tools and automation that drove measurable operational improvements
  • Exceptional decision-making ability: History of making tough calls quickly and confidently under pressure
  • Strong problem-solving skills: Proven ability to diagnose complex issues, identify root causes, and architect sustainable solutions
  • Executive presence: Communication skills and credibility befitting a senior leader; ability to influence without authority
  • Ownership mindset: Full accountability for outcomes; approaches challenges as an owner, not an operator

Technical Skills

  • Deep expertise with modern operational systems: CRM (HubSpot), project management (ClickUp, Asana), collaboration tools (GSuite, Slack)
  • Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools (ChatGPT, Zapier, workflow automation, predictive analytics)
  • Comfortable with BI tools, dashboarding platforms, and data analysis to drive decisions
  • Understanding of how technology, processes, and people interconnect to create operational leverage

Preferred

  • Experience managing remote/distributed teams across time zones
  • Background scaling operations through rapid growth (3x+ revenue expansion)
  • Performance marketing, affiliate marketing, or digital media experience
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and SaaS ecosystems

Why This Role Matters

In your first year, you'll conduct a comprehensive operational audit, implement AI-driven improvements with measurable ROI, and transform operational performance into a strategic growth driver. You'll have autonomy to make high-impact decisions and the opportunity to shape the operational foundation of a rapidly scaling company.

rational foundation of a rapidly scaling company.
