About the Role:
We're hiring a Director of Procure-to-Pay to own our full P2P lifecycle — Procurement, Accounts Payable, and Travel & Expense — as one connected function. You'll build out a formal procurement capability from the ground up while leading our existing AP and T&E teams, creating a seamless process from vendor sourcing all the way through payment.
This role is equal parts builder and operator. You'll design the policies, systems, and vendor management practices that don't fully exist yet, while also running the day-to-day teams and processes that already do. If you love bringing structure to ambiguity and want ownership over an entire function rather than a slice of one, this is built for you.
You'll report to the VP of Financial Operations and partner closely with Legal, Strategic Finance, InfoSec, and other business leaders across the company.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.
Role Responsibilities:
- Own the full procure-to-pay lifecycle end to end, from procurement intake and vendor sourcing, through contracting, to invoicing and payment
- Build Fetch's procurement function from scratch: policy, purchasing approval frameworks, vendor risk and onboarding processes, and category sourcing strategy
- Lead and grow our Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense teams, ensuring both scale smoothly as the company grows
- Select and implement the systems needed to support procurement and close gaps in our current P2P tech stack
- Negotiate vendor contracts and drive measurable savings across major spend categories
- Partner with Legal, Financial Systems, and Accounting on contract terms, controls, and audit readiness
- Define and track the metrics that matter across the full P2P chain — cycle time, compliance, savings, and payment performance
Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience across Procurement, AP, and/or T&E, with a track record of building or significantly scaling a procurement function — not just running one that's already in place
- People management experience, ideally leading AP and/or T&E teams
- Strong systems fluency with modern P2P, ERP, or contract lifecycle tools
- A track record of negotiating vendor contracts and driving real savings
- Comfort working in ambiguity and building process where little exists today
- Excellent stakeholder management skills — you'll work closely with Finance leadership and teams across the business
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience standing up a procurement function from an early stage
Compensation:
At Fetch, we offer competitive compensation packages including base, equity, and benefits to the exceptional folks we hire. The base salary range for this position is [$173,000-202,000]. Discover our benefits and how our employees live rewarded at https://fetch.com/careers.
At Fetch, we'll give you the tools to feel healthy, happy and secure through:
- Equity: We offer full-time employees equity in Fetch, so that everyone can benefit from Fetch’s growth.
- 401k Match: Dollar-for-dollar match up to 4%.
- Benefits for humans and pets: We offer comprehensive medical, dental and vision plans for everyone including your pets.
- Continuing Education: Fetch provides ten thousand per year in education reimbursement.
- Employee Resource Groups: Take part in employee-led groups that are centered around fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace through events, dialogue and advocacy. The ERGs participate in our Inclusion Council with members of executive leadership.
- Paid Time Off: On top of our flexible PTO, Fetch observes 9 paid holidays, as well as our year-end week-long break.
- Robust Leave Policies: 20 weeks of paid parental leave for primary caregivers, 14 weeks for secondary caregivers, and a flexible return to work schedule.
- Calvin Care Cash: Employees who are welcoming new family members will also receive a one time $2,000 incentive to assist employees with covering the cost of childcare, clothing, diapers and much more!
- Flexible Work Environment: Collaborate with your team in one of our stunning offices, or you can work fully remotely from anywhere in the US. We’ll ensure you are equally equipped with the hardware and software you need to get your job done in the comfort of your home. (applicable for most roles)
