Lead product strategy and roadmap for ADT's real-time monitoring platform, driving reliability, speed, and compliance. Collaborate with engineering, operations, analytics, and stakeholders to define requirements, run experiments, and deliver scalable solutions that improve alarm detection, response workflows, and operational outcomes.
Summary:
ADT is seeking a Director of Product Management, Monitoring Platforms to lead the development and evolution of our Monitoring platform, which facilitates and enables ADT response to burglar, fire, panic, and other critical alarms in real time. This role is responsible for ensuring the platform delivers reliable, rapid, and compliant alarm handling to protect customers and property when every second counts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Innovation
- Define and execute product strategy for ADT's monitoring platform, focusing on reliability, speed, and operational excellence
- Identify and prioritize enhancements that improve alarm detection, response workflows, and agent effectiveness.
- Translate urgent operational needs and regulatory changes into actionable product direction and measurable outcomes.
Roadmap & Prioritization
- Lead development and ongoing refinement of a prioritized product roadmap aligned to business objectives
- Establish clear ownership and accountability across product initiatives
- Partner with leadership to align on strategic priorities and sequencing of initiatives
- Balance near-term delivery needs with long-term platform improvements
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Marketing, Customer Ops and Analytics teams to deliver high-impact solutions
- Drive alignment across stakeholders and resolve ambiguity in roles, responsibilities, and execution paths
- Serve as the central point of coordination for emerging technology initiatives
Product Development & Delivery
- Define product requirements, user journeys, and success metrics
- Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle: ideation, validation, development, launch, and iteration
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and aligned with customer and operational needs
Experimentation & Growth
- Design and execute experiments (e.g., pilots, A/B testing) to validate new concepts and workflow improvements
- Define and track key performance indicators tied to incident response, platform reliability, and business impact.
- Build repeatable frameworks for scaling successful initiatives
Minimum Qualifications:
- 7-10+ years of Product Management experience in technology-driven environments
- Proven ability to lead 0→1 product development or new capability incubation
- 7+ experience managing product roadmaps and prioritizing competing initiatives
- 7+ years experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, and Business stakeholders
- Demonstrated track record of delivering measurable business outcomes (growth, adoption, revenue)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision making
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
AI / Machine Learning
- Experience working on or delivering AI/ML-powered products or features
- Understanding of concepts such as:
- Predictive modeling
- Computer vision or sensor-based intelligence
- Large language models (LLMs) and automation workflows
- Experience defining AI-driven product use cases and evaluating model performance
- Familiarity with experimentation frameworks for AI-driven capabilities
Additional Preferred Experience
- Experience with platform or infrastructure products
- Background in consumer technology, SaaS, or subscription-based business models
- Experience with automation software for central station/alarm monitoring, or other critical industry/call center event handling interfaces preferred
- Experience with alarm monitoring, central station, or incident management platforms
- Background in security, life safety, or adjacent industries
- Experience with automation software for alarm monitoring or call center event handling
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements for alarm response
- Experience with experimentation and growth frameworks (e.g., A/B testing, workflow optimization)
Travel:
- Position to be based out of Irving, TX or Boca Raton, FL. Travel to either location, 25%
