About Vantage Data Centers

Vantage Data Centers powers, cools, protects and connects the technology of the world’s well-known hyperscalers, cloud providers and large enterprises. Developing and operating across North America, EMEA and Asia Pacific, Vantage has evolved data center design in innovative ways to deliver dramatic gains in reliability, efficiency and sustainability in flexible environments that can scale as quickly as the market demands.

Product Department

The Product organization defines and evolves Vantage’s data center product portfolio, ensuring offerings are scalable, reliable, and aligned to customer and market needs. Product Operations partners closely with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to ensure products are ready to launch, scalable in deployment, and performant in production.

Position Overview

This role can be based remotely in the United States.

The Director, Product Enablement – North America is a senior individual contributor responsible for end-to-end operational readiness and lifecycle execution of Vantage data center products across the region. This role serves as the single-threaded operational owner from pre-launch through scale and sustainment, ensuring products can be deployed, operated, and maintained consistently at scale. The position requires strong cross-functional leadership, deep systems thinking, and a hands-on approach to operational execution in hardware- and infrastructure-intensive environments.

Essential Job Functions

  • Own the North America product interception pipeline, identifying candidate projects, assessing product fit, coordinating adoption plans, and tracking conversion from project delivery to standardized product usage

  • Interface with customers and commercial teams to understand near-term delivery requirements and longer-term platform needs, translating customer signals into structured product, readiness, and roadmap inputs

  • Partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure customer and product requirements are enabled through qualified vendors, capacity planning, and aligned sourcing strategies—without introducing unmanaged product variance

  • Engage key vendors and partners to validate feasibility, readiness, and scalability of product requirements, ensuring alignment with approved standards, variants, and deployment timelines

  • Drive deployment readiness for platform products in North America, ensuring predictable rollout at scale without creating bespoke divergence

  • Drive operational readiness for data center products from pre-launch through scale and sustainment

  • Define and maintain operating models, runbooks, and SOPs, including release readiness checklists, go/no-go decision gates, and post-launch retrospectives for North America projects

  • Support and execute product launch readiness, regional onboarding, and scale-out activities

  • Translate product and engineering designs into clear, executable operational workflows

  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to drive automation, tooling, and system integrations

  • Ensure data quality and system integrity, including handover data completeness (asset records, configurations, and evidence) and traceability to approved standards and variants

  • Operate a closed-loop learning system by capturing as-built and as-operated signals and translating them into actionable, structured inputs for the platform performance and product teams

  • Support lifecycle performance in production, including deployment, operation, maintenance, and retirement

  • Identify operational risks and bottlenecks and drive mitigation plans and design feedback

  • Define, track, and improve operational KPIs (e.g., time-to-deploy, MTTR, yield, availability)

  • Establish feedback loops between operations, product, and engineering teams

  • Participate as an operational leader in product reviews, readiness assessments, and post-launch retrospectives

  • Additional duties as assigned by Management

Job Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Operations, Technical Program Management, Infrastructure Operations, or a related senior role

  • Proven experience scaling complex, hardware-intensive or infrastructure products

  • Demonstrated success driving automation and operational tooling improvements

  • Strong cross-functional leadership and influence without direct authority

  • Data-driven mindset with experience improving operational performance metrics

  • Travel required is expected to be up to 20% but may increase over time as the business evolves

Physical Demands and Special Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop or kneel; talk and hear.
