Your Mission

We're looking for a Director, Product Management to lead execution on high-impact products that drive company-wide growth. Our CPO sets the vision — you'll turn it into a roadmap, own it, and drive it forward yourself alongside a small team of PMs and designers.

This is a hands-on, player-coach role. You'll spend the large majority of your time in the work — talking to customers, shaping strategy, and shipping — not running a management layer. If you're looking for a role that's primarily meetings and oversight, this isn't it. If you want to own outcomes and build a team around your own example, it is.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Execution

  • Translate the CPO's product vision and growth objectives into clear, functional execution strategies that drive customer impact

  • Own the company roadmap and determine what product or feature to build and when to build it

  • Provide medium-term planning to ensure alignment between day-to-day product decisions and long-term company strategy

  • Drive cross-functional coordination across product, design, engineering, marketing, operations, and customer success

  • Act as the counterpart to the Engineering Leader

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Lead a small team as a player-coach, carrying your own product workstreams while coaching others to sharpen their skills and grow their careers

  • Coach in the workflow, minimizing separate management overhead

  • Foster a product culture grounded in ownership, impact, measurement, and collaboration

  • Champion an outcome-based product development approach focused on solving real customer problems

  • Ensure your team members are motivated, supported, and continuously growing in their roles

Operational

  • Ensure the roadmap stays grounded in customer insight, data, and market dynamics

  • Personally own product workstreams, not just oversee them — ensuring progress on all initiatives and leading by example

  • Build and refine product development processes and systems in partnership with engineering leadership

  • Play the Sr. PM role within specific swim lanes, leading by example while delegating other workstreams to your team

  • Help ensure scalable, repeatable processes are in place for prioritization, execution, and measurement

Qualifications
  • 8–10+ years in product roles, ideally at a fast-growing SaaS or technology company

  • 2+ years managing product managers and designers

  • Experience owning and shipping multiple successful products at scale — not just features

  • Comfortable taking strategic direction and independently translating it into an executable roadmap

  • A track record of hands-on ownership — you'd rather be building the thing than managing the people building it

  • Experience influencing or leading cross-functional partners, even if not through formal authority

Preferred Qualifications
  • Early employee at a high-growth startup

  • Familiarity with general manager structures and outcome-based accountability

  • Experience in wholesale distribution or the trades
