Sift Healthcare is seeking a Director of Product to lead execution and delivery across key components of its Payments Intelligence Platform. This individual will own a defined product domain and be responsible for translating company strategy into clear product requirements, prioritized backlogs, and high-quality releases.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on product delivery, cross-functional coordination, and driving measurable outcomes within a specific product area. The Director will work closely with Engineering and Data Science to ensure timely execution, while partnering with Commercial and Client Success teams to ensure solutions meet customer needs.

This role is ideal for a strong product operator who thrives in a data-driven SaaS environment and enjoys balancing structured execution with customer-driven iteration.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own Product Strategy and Delivery for an Assigned Domain: Define and lead strategy and execution for a defined product area within Sift’s Payments Intelligence Platform. Translate company and product strategy into clear requirements, prioritized backlogs, and structured release plans aligned to business priorities and platform scalability. Serve as the accountable decision-maker for scope, sequencing, and trade-offs.
  • Lead and Develop Product Talent: Manage and mentor Product Managers and/or Product Owners within the domain. Set clear expectations, coach high-quality product thinking and execution, and foster a culture of accountability, customer empathy, and outcomes-driven delivery. Partner with leadership on hiring, onboarding, performance management, and team structure as the product organization scales.
  • Translate Complex Workflows into Scalable Product Solutions: Develop detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria grounded in healthcare revenue cycle workflows (claims, denials, payer-provider dynamics, payment workflows). Partner closely with Engineering and Data Science to clarify scope, dependencies, model assumptions, and system constraints. Ensure solutions are designed for repeatability and platform reuse—not one-off customization.
  • Drive Roadmap Execution and Release PlanningMaintain and prioritize the product backlog based on customer impact, revenue opportunity, and technical feasibility. Lead quarterly planning and release sequencing, ensuring alignment across internal stakeholders. Proactively manage delivery risk, scope changes, and trade-offs to ensure high-quality, on-time releases.
  • Integrate Data Science and ML into Product Decisions: Collaborate with Analytics and Data Science to translate predictive models into usable, workflow-integrated product features. Define model performance thresholds, user-facing outputs, and intervention/decision logic in partnership with clinical SMEs and operational teams. Monitor model performance and drive iterative improvement based on real-world usage and outcomes.
  • Drive Customer-Centered Discovery and Iteration: Conduct structured customer discovery and workflow validation; synthesize client feedback into prioritized enhancements while protecting platform integrity. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with real-world operational environments.
  • Define and Measure Product SuccessEstablish domain-level KPIs (adoption, engagement, outcome impact, revenue contribution) and track them consistently. Use quantitative and qualitative data to inform iteration and continuous improvement. Provide regular performance updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Support Cross-Functional Launch and Enablement: Partner with Sales, Marketing, Client Success, and Implementation to ensure successful launches and clear roadmap communication. Develop release documentation, positioning guidance, and internal training materials as needed. Serve as the primary product representative for assigned initiatives.
  • Contribute to Product Operations and Process Maturity: Strengthen documentation standards, intake processes, and delivery frameworks as the organization scales. Promote clarity, accountability, and disciplined execution across the product lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6–8+ years of product management experience in healthcare technology or enterprise SaaS environments.
  • Experience owning feature delivery and roadmap execution within a defined product domain.
  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle concepts (claims, denials, payer contracts, payment integrity, financial workflows) strongly preferred.
  • Experience working in data-intensive or analytics-driven products; exposure to AI/ML-enabled solutions is a plus.
  • Strong ability to develop clear product requirements and work collaboratively within Agile development environments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong prioritization, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex workflows, identify user needs, and translate them into scalable product solutions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment with a high degree of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience working with data tools (SQL, Excel, BI platforms) to evaluate product performance is preferred.

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be based on skills, experience, and performance.
