About Arango

At Arango, we believe the first generation of enterprise AI missed something essential: context. While LLMs are powerful, they can’t deliver accurate answers without understanding the business context behind the data.
Arango provides the trusted data foundation for Contextual AI – transforming fragmented enterprise data into a System of Context that connects data to meaning, so AI can deliver accurate, explainable answers at unlimited scale and cost efficiency.

Arango provides the trusted data foundation for Contextual AI – transforming fragmented enterprise data into a System of Context that connects data to meaning, so AI can deliver accurate, explainable answers at scale and with cost efficiency.

The Arango AI Data Platform gives developers a single, integrated environment to build and scale AI-powered applications without the complexity of managing multiple databases and tools. At its core is a massively scalable multi-model data platform that unifies graph, vector, document, and key-value data — bridging enterprise data and AI.
Trusted by NVIDIA, HPE, the London Stock Exchange, the U.S. Air Force, NIH, and Articul8, Arango powers enterprise AI with context, confidence, and scale. We are a proud member of the NVIDIA Inception Program and the AWS ISV Accelerate Program.

If you’re excited about shaping the future of Contextual AI, come build with us.

Location

Candidates who live in and are authorized to work in the United States will be considered. While this is a work-from-home role, some travel may be required.

About the Role:

We’re seeking an ambitious and experienced Director of Product Marketing to lead integrated product marketing initiatives — spanning product positioning, content strategy, competitive intelligence, customer marketing, and sales enablement for the Arango AI Data Platform.

You’ll report directly to the CMO. In this strategic role, you’ll help define and own how we position Arango in a fast-evolving AI landscape — translating complex technology into clear, differentiated messaging and go-to-market strategies that create new market categories and grow existing business. You’ll partner closely with Sales, Product, and Growth Marketing to craft stories that resonate with buyers and users including AI developers building production-grade AI-powered applications.

This is a rare opportunity to combine storytelling, strategy, and execution — helping shape how the world understands Contextual AI and Arango’s role in powering it.

What You’ll Do

You’ll work at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales — transforming innovation into stories that drive revenue and customer impact.

Audience Marketing & Sales Plays
  • Develop targeted audience marketing strategies and sales plays that guide executive and technical buyers from discovery to adoption.
  • Partner with Sales and Growth Marketing to build repeatable plays that position Arango as the trusted foundation for enterprise AI initiatives.
  • Create executive-ready campaign assets — from playbooks to one-pagers — that equip sellers and partners with impactful narratives tailored to each account.

Product Knowledge & Market Positioning
  • Maintain deep understanding of Arango’s platform architecture and roadmap, ensuring messaging is credible, differentiated, and aligned with buyer needs.
  • Conduct competitive and market intelligence to refine positioning and identify opportunities to strengthen Arango’s category leadership.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, and Analysts to continuously sharpen the company’s market story and strategic point of view.

Sales Enablement & GTM Tools
  • Build and deliver enablement content for executive and technical audiences — including pitch decks, playbooks, talk tracks, and ROI narratives.
  • Train field teams to confidently communicate Arango’s differentiation and value proposition across use cases.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing to surface proof points and case studies that demonstrate real-world outcomes and customer success.

Content Strategy & Experience
  • Own the executive and thought leadership content roadmap, aligning with launches, analyst engagements, and key campaigns.
  • Produce or guide executive-ready content for web, events, and digital channels that tie AI innovation to business value.
  • Measure engagement and field adoption; refine strategies to maximize impact and influence.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Entrepreneurial, builder mindset: comfortable rolling up your sleeves to design, launch, and optimize campaigns while building a strong foundation for future scale from the ground up.
  • 10-12 years in product marketing, GTM strategy, or executive communications within data, AI/ML, SaaS companies.
  • Proven success shaping narratives, creating enablement content, and launching products that resonate with both technical and executive buyers.
  • Strong understanding of data and analytics, AI/ML, SaaS, data engineering, and cloud ecosystems.
  • Ability to synthesize complex insights — market data, customer feedback, analyst input — into actionable strategies and clear messaging.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills; familiarity with HubSpot, Salesforce, and enablement tools preferred.
