Overview

We are seeking a highly technical, hands-on Product Marketing leader to drive messaging, content, and go-to-market execution across Striim's four core motions: Cloud Adoption, Application & Data Modernization, Event Stream Processing, and Agentic AI.

This is a high-impact individual contributor role for a builder who can move quickly, operate with autonomy, and turn complex technology into compelling stories for both technical and executive audiences. The ideal candidate has genuine product-level expertise in data streaming, cloud, and AI technologies; can write deeply technical white papers and blogs; and can translate those technical concepts into business value that resonates with CIOs, CDOs, and enterprise technology leaders.

This role is highly hands-on and works closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Solutions Engineering, Alliances, and executive leadership to turn product innovation into differentiated messaging, technical content, sales enablement, and market impact.

Responsibilities
  • Own and execute product marketing initiatives from concept to launch across Striim's core markets.
  • Develop deep expertise in Striim's technology and translate complex capabilities into differentiated positioning, messaging, and business value.
  • Write highly technical, authoritative content, including technical blogs, solution briefs, technical guides, and thought leadership briefs.
  • Create executive-level narratives that connect technical capabilities to business priorities such as modernization, cost, risk, resilience, and AI readiness.
  • Partner directly with Product and Engineering to understand architecture, capabilities, differentiation, and customer use cases.
  • Build sales and executive content for various industries, including pitch decks, battlecards, competitive positioning, ROI/value frameworks, and customer presentations.
  • Support strategic enterprise opportunities by helping Sales and Solutions Engineering articulate technical and business value to sophisticated buyers.
  • Develop competitive intelligence and messaging against emerging data and AI platforms.
  • Turn customer, market, and competitive insights into actionable messaging and content.
  • Contribute to analyst, partner, customer, webinar, conference, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate research, writing, content development, and execution.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in B2B software Product Marketing, Product Management, Solutions Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a related technical role.
  • Deep product-level expertise in data infrastructure, data modernization, streaming, distributed systems, cloud, analytics, AI/ML, or related enterprise technologies.
  • Exceptional technical writing skills with a strong portfolio of solution briefs, competitive analyses, technical guides, or other long-form technical content.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical solutions into compelling business value for CIOs, CDOs, CTOs, Enterprise Architects, and other enterprise technology leaders.
  • Strong understanding of CDC, data replication, real-time streaming, event-driven architectures, stream processing, Apache Kafka, and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Spanner, Microsoft Fabric, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Ability to understand technical architecture and product differentiation without relying on others to translate it.
  • Proven ability to operate as a hands-on individual contributor in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, taking ambiguous ideas from concept to execution with minimal direction.
  • Demonstrated ability to move quickly, manage competing priorities, and produce high-quality work without a large team or extensive infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting complex enterprise sales cycles and working directly with Engineering, Product, Sales, Solutions Engineering, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience in data-intensive or highly regulated enterprise markets such as financial services, healthcare, telecommunications, manufacturing, or retail.
  • Experience with analyst relations, enterprise technology thought leadership, or cloud partner ecosystems.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI-enabled productivity and content tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gong AI, or similar.

Compensation

$225,000 - 235,000 USD on an annualized basis. In addition to base pay, this role offers the opportunity to earn variable-based rewards.
