Director of Product

Valcre is a technology leader in commercial real estate appraisal software, trusted by more than 300 leading organizations. We build the platform that defines how modern appraisal work gets done.

We’re looking for a Director of Product to lead delivery of high-impact, user-facing product initiatives that materially change how appraisal companies work. This role owns discovery, requirements, roadmap execution, and coordination with Engineering and GTM. You’ll manage and develop the PM team and play a central role in delivering industry-leading products.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real ownership over what gets built and how it ships.

Why this role matters

Valcre has a strong platform and a large surface area for innovation. We are actively investing in new capabilities, including applying AI to core appraisal workflows in ways that deliver real productivity gains. This role sits at the center of that work, turning ambitious ideas into shipped products.

What you’ll do
  • This role owns discovery and requirements, and rapidly converts strategy into an execution-ready plan (priorities, sequencing, milestones, and clear delivery alignment) that Engineering and GTM can ship against.

  • Work directly with the CPO on defining product vision and roadmap.

  • Lead discovery and define requirements for complex, workflow-driven product areas.

  • Drive major initiatives from concept through launch.

  • Coordinate closely with GTM to ensure clarity on scope, timing, and readiness.

  • Manage and develop Product Managers, setting expectations for ownership and execution.

  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, and executives on priorities and tradeoffs.

  • Engage in strategic customer or sales conversations when product context is critical.

What we’re looking for
  • Experience leading Product Managers and owning roadmap delivery in a SaaS environment.

  • A track record of shipping meaningful, user-facing products.

  • Strong discovery and requirements skills.

  • High user empathy and a clear interest in building tools professionals rely on daily.

  • Comfort working closely with Engineering and GTM.

Compensation, benefits & perks
  • Competitive salary and equity participation

  • 401k

  • Health insurance

  • Fully remote role based in North America

  • Generous PTO

  • Collaboration across multiple time zones, including teams in Europe and India
