What is the Director of Program Management, Payor Partnerships role?

The Director of Program Management, Payor Partnerships owns how CopilotIQ delivers for its payor partners, from launch through ongoing operation and growth.

You will run the company's payor programs end to end: owning the operating relationship with each payor, leading the cross-functional delivery that meets the terms of each contract, and building a repeatable model that carries best practices across programs. The work is multi-threaded across payors, so what works in one program strengthens the next. This is a senior, operationally focused role for someone who can manage a sophisticated payor relationship, drive disciplined cross-functional execution, and make the trade-off decisions that keep programs moving.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own the day-to-day operating relationship with each payor partner, serving as their primary point of contact and keeping programs running smoothly and the partnership positioned to grow.
  • Lead cross-functional program delivery across clinical, commercial, engineering, and operations, running launches and ongoing operations to scope, timeline, and contractual requirements.
  • Apply a disciplined project management approach: define project plans, milestones, decision rights, and operating cadences, track progress against them, and hold each function accountable to its commitments.
  • Define and own program KPIs, including enrollment and consent conversion, implementation milestones, service levels, program efficiency, and quality and outcome measures, reporting on performance and driving action where targets are missed.
  • Build a repeatable payor operating model and playbook so launches, workflows, and best practices.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree a plus.
  • 8+ years in program management, payor or provider operations, healthcare strategy, or comparable operating roles is required. Experience at a top-tier consulting firm is a plus.
  • Proven success managing complex, high-stakes client or partner relationships with discipline, strong EQ, and sound long-term judgment.
  • Strong program and project management skills, with a track record of running cross-functional delivery to scope, timeline, and quality across multiple teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, comfortable defining KPIs, working in spreadsheets and BI tools, and using data to manage program performance.
  • Sound business judgment, with the ability to identify risks and opportunities early and bring forward clear, well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Clear, concise communication and executive presence, with a collaborative, team-first approach across functions.
  • Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with an ownership mindset. Experience in healthcare, value-based care, or Medicare Advantage is a plus.
