We are seeking a results-driven Director of Sales to lead revenue growth at our Fairfield by Marriott in Conroe, TX. This role is ideal for a hands-on hotel sales leader who thrives on building relationships, driving local corporate and group business, and owning results.

The Director of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing the hotel’s sales strategy, increasing market share, and positioning the hotel as a preferred choice for corporate, leisure, and group travelers in the Conroe / The Woodlands market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue, occupancy, and ADR goals

  • Proactively solicit new business through sales calls, prospecting, networking, site tours, and community engagement

  • Maintain and grow local corporate, negotiated, and group accounts

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and demand drivers to identify opportunities

  • Partner closely with Revenue Management, Operations, and Ownership to align sales strategy with hotel goals

  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly sales reports, forecasts, and action plans

  • Represent the hotel at local business events, trade shows, and industry functions

  • Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, systems, and reporting requirements

  • Act as a visible ambassador of the hotel within the local market

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably as a Director of Sales or Senior Sales Manager

  • Experience in select-service or limited-service hotels (Marriott experience strongly preferred)

  • Proven track record of driving revenue and market penetration

  • Strong local market knowledge of Conroe / The Woodlands / North Houston is a plus

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working independently

  • Proficiency with hotel sales systems (Delphi, MARSHA, CI/TY, or similar)

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with daily hands-on selling
