Description

The Director, SEO Content is responsible for melding the worlds of SEO strategy with high-caliber content creation. This role is dedicated to spearheading our content-driven SEO initiatives, managing a team of SEO content writers, and ensuring the production of compelling, optimized, and results-driven content. With a foot firmly in both the artistic and technical realms of SEO, the Director, SEO Content is a storyteller, strategist, and leader rolled into one.

  • Direct and supervise the entire SEO Content team, ensuring consistent and top-tier product delivery.
  • Design, develop, and refine our SEO content strategy, ensuring alignment with broader SEO goals and company objectives. 
  • Ensure accurate metrics are consistently reported and reviewed to monitor client sentiment, optimize client satisfaction, and foster trust in our service delivery capabilities.
  • This leader will approach processes with scale and future acquisitions in mind. Becoming adept at data analysis, tech trends, and pattern recognition to identify and implement efficiencies and scalable solutions (ie. Health & Interactions/reviewing client satisfaction across 1K+ clients).
  • The timing and implementation of change will affect outcomes, and proactive, critical thinking is needed to attain desired results. This leader is actively working with other Division Leaders, having the necessary conversations, and executing on standards. 
  • Lead and develop a team of professionals with, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide mentorship, conduct evaluations, and motivate team members to enhance team performance and individual growth. 
  • Work with Directors & Talent Management Director to create coaching and training programs that provide our teammates with opportunities to grow their knowledge. 
  • Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and annual performance reviews with direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for continuous professional development and growth of team members. Be the source of vision, inspiration, and motivation, while providing constructive feedback to aid in reaching goals.
  • This group’s approach and results will provide Sales and Marketing with material for case studies, webinars, and more. They will collaborate with sales to create and maintain comprehensive explainer materials to support the sales team, enabling them to clearly articulate our services' benefits and unique selling points.
  • Implement, monitor, and refine quality assurance processes to ensure all output meets the company's high standards and client expectations. 
  • Work closely with other departments and directors to ensure comprehensive service integration, addressing potential gaps or areas for improvement. 
  • Create, refine, and document comprehensive SEO content processes that drive efficiency, consistency, and top-tier results across all SEO initiatives. 
  • Develop training modules and conduct sessions to ensure all team members are well-versed and compliant with newly established processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes, making adjustments as necessary to ensure continual optimization. 
  • Establish a system for receiving feedback on existing processes, allowing for regular refinement based on team input and client feedback. 
  • Stay passionate about staying "in-the-know" on the latest digital marketing trends, including Google algorithm shifts and industry updates. Continuously enhance your knowledge independently and also through ongoing BSchool training to build credibility & business acumen with both teammates and clients and share your insights. 
  • Other duties, as assigned.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of digital marketing experience 
  • 6+ years leading teams to organizational success
  • Experience with data analysis and technology
  • Experience with resource planning, execution, and management
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills, with experience guiding specialized teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SEO best practices, tools, and analytics platforms as they relate to content.
  • Strong command over content strategy, creation, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance creative and technical aspects of content-driven SEO campaigns.
  • A collaborative and accountable leader

Salary Description: $92,000 - $120,000
