The Director of Software Engineering will lead and manage scrum-based teams with two areas of focus - 1). Focusing on low/no-code development and ERP powered solutions similar to Salesforce and SAP. This requires a strategic leader with a deep understanding of software engineering principles, low/no-code platform development, and ERP systems and integration to drive innovation and align engineering efforts with business objectives. 2). Focusing on the Dealer Operations Data & Reporting Capabilities and Platform. This includes responsibility for managing and optimizing an organization's data infrastructure and reporting capabilities.
Key Experiences

  • Low/no code development and leadership experience
  • ERP development, integration experience (has worked with similar platforms like Salesforce, Workday, etc...
  • Rapid SDLC experience
  • Building new development skills within teams and maturing to high levels of performance/output/quality
  • Working with platform partners to maximize existing platform capabilities
  • Working with platform partners to optimize platform going forward based on business/operational/technology/functional needs


Responsibilities

  • Primary leader for NW platform development - role includes establishing development patterns and practices for Dealer Operations and can be used by other areas/teams that deliver solutions using the NW platform
  • Lead program to accelerate the building of internal (including key offshore dev partners) NW skills and mastery across development teams
  • Help optimize the CAPG SDLC processes for low/no-code platform development
  • Facilitate the maturity of platform partner relationship
  • Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objective
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data initiatives support organizational goals
  • Design and oversee the implementation of robust data architectures


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related fields; or 22 years' experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience in a senior software engineering role, with a focus on low/no-code development and ERP systems like Salesforce or SAP.
  • Experience in data engineering, data management, and reporting.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent project management and strategic planning abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of software engineering principles, low/no-code platforms, and ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in data architecture and data integration.
  • Knowledge of data governance and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


USD 159,400.00 - 265,600.00
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $159,400.00 - $265,600.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members.
