What We're Building

Drug development is one of the most data-intensive endeavors in human history. Yet scientists spend more time finding and cleaning data than actually using it, slowing down drugs that should reach patients faster and more affordably. Biopharma has seen billions invested in software. Almost none of it was built for the scientists actually running experiments.

Bioprocess data is high-frequency, multi-source, and inconsistent. It’s spread across dozens of systems that are rarely connected or clean. We make it usable. On top of that, our AI agent gives scientists something they've never had: the ability to query their full experimental history, catch deviations in real time, and make decisions that inform million-dollar manufacturing outcomes. We think carefully about model behavior, reliability, and what it means for AI to be trustworthy in a regulated industry. Every engineer here owns that problem.

This is a place for builders — people who want to own hard problems, ship fast, and work with others who hold themselves to a high bar.

What You’ll Do
  • Own revenue expansion across greenfield territory — leveraging your network to grow Invert's presence in biotech and pharma

  • Build and execute long-term sales strategies, lead commercial negotiations, and close complex deals

  • Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives, navigating complex organizations and aligning diverse stakeholders

  • Develop outbound strategies to build and maintain a robust pipeline

  • Own account mapping and orchestrate strategic meetings to deepen customer engagement

  • Contribute to refining sales processes and shaping a results-driven culture at Invert

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of successfully selling SaaS, ideally in the life science space.

  • Proven experience selling value-based solutions, focused on solving customer pain points rather than feature selling, translating product capabilities into measurable customer outcomes

  • Experience leading value-based sales cycles, aligning solutions to customer ROI and strategic goals

  • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging an extensive network of connections to facilitate access to senior decision-makers and unlock new opportunities for collaboration

  • Expertise in developing and executing comprehensive account plans that span multiple business units within complex organizations, ensuring alignment and maximizing opportunities

  • Natural ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, fostering strong working relationships

  • Highly developed presentation skills, particularly adept at delivering compelling in-person presentations to multiple stakeholders to convey value and drive engagement

  • Proven capability to lead complex negotiations, navigating bespoke commercial agreements to achieve favorable outcomes for all parties involved

  • Ability to operate in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

Why Invert
  • Direct impact on the speed and success of life-saving and planet-sustaining innovations

  • A team of scientists and technologists building the product they always wished they had

  • Purpose-built product, fast-paced environment, clear ownership

  • Flexible remote-first setup, async-first culture, minimal bureaucracy

The package
  • High-growth startup with impactful work

  • Fully remote, distributed across US and European timezones

  • Competitive salary, equity, and benefits

  • New laptop, monitor, and accessories of your choice

  • Frequent team offsites

  • Unlimited PTO

Invert is an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse perspectives and lived experiences — especially in a field where better science depends on better systems. If you're inspired by our mission, we want to hear from you.
