As Director Strategy Development – Procurement at Honeywell Technologies, you will lead the creation and integration of enterprise-wide procurement strategy aligned to the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) vision of building a stronger, more agile organization. This role is central to transforming the procurement function by translating executive vision into a cohesive, long-term strategic roadmap that enables growth and delivers greater value to customers and employees. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of procurement by aligning cross-functional strategies, ensuring consistency across the organization, and driving strategic clarity as Honeywell continues its transformation journey.
You will report directly to the Senior Director Strategic Sourcing and work out of our Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, or Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the development of a comprehensive, enterprise procurement strategy, integrating inputs from functional teams including automation, resiliency, functional excellence, productivity, and compliance
- Translate executive vision and long-range planning (STRAP) into actionable strategic frameworks and multi-year roadmaps
- Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and align strategic initiatives across procurement and the broader business
- Drive strategic project concepts and initiatives, ensuring alignment with ISC strategy and business objectives
- Act as a central integrator, consolidating and harmonizing existing functional strategies into a unified direction
- Establish a strategy development framework, governance model, and timeline to guide execution and track progress
- Influence and collaborate across a highly matrixed, global organization without direct reporting authority
YOU MUST HAVE
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise strategy development, strategic planning, or business transformation leadership
- Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear strategic direction

- Background in procurement, supply chain, consulting, or related strategic roles

- Comfort holding both rigor and speed in tension; you know when governance accelerates delivery and when it's theater
