The Director Transplant Operations & Quality will serve as CareDx’s subject matter expert on the transplant patient journey and the operational priorities of transplant centers. This role is critical in shaping product development, messaging, and commercial execution to ensure CareDx delivers solutions that improve transplant outcomes and reduce workflow burden for transplant centers. The individual will collaborate closely with PLM, Marketing and field leadership teams to integrate deep transplant ecosystem insights into product strategy, digital portfolio enhancements, and wrap-around service development, messaging and approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary expert on transplant center operations, priorities, and strategic goals to inform product lifecycle decisions.
  • Partner with the Digital Portfolio PLM lead to enhance features, functionality, and value proposition of CareDx’s digital solutions.
  • Drive development of future wrap-around services and solutions that complement testing services and improve transplant outcomes.
  • Provide actionable insights to PLM team members to ensure new products and services align with transplant center workflows and needs.
  • Advise Sales, Marketing and PLM teams on messaging and data strategies strategies targeted at transplant center administrators and decision-makers, as well as clinical coordinators as needed.
  • Work with Market Access and PLM Teams to advice on product trials, health economic study design and cost modeling that clearly communicates health economic value of our product portfolio to health systems and clinician groups.
  • Represent CareDx in external engagements, webinars, etc with transplant center administrators, clinical coordinators, societies, and industry forums focused on improving quality and effectiveness of the transplant ecosystem.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure commercial execution aligns with strategic objectives and customer needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in transplant healthcare, with deep knowledge of transplant center operations and the patient journey.
  • Proven track record of influencing product development and commercial strategies in a healthcare or life sciences organization.
  • Strong understanding of digital health solutions and their application in clinical workflows.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including experience interacting with healthcare administrators and societies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in product management or marketing within the transplant or broader healthcare ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements in transplant care.
  • MBA or equivalent business experience.

This is the anticipated base salary range in the United States. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to, the type and length of experience within the job, the type and length of experience within the industry, education, etc. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives and restricted stock units. CareDx is a multi-state employer, and this salary range may not reflect positions that work in other states.
