This is a hybrid role based at our Chicago Headquarters. The Director of Unsecured Lending Products is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping the future of the organization's unsecured lending business. This leader owns the strategy, growth, profitability, and member experience across a diverse portfolio of unsecured lending products, including personal loans, lines of credit, overdraft solutions, and emerging lending offerings.

Partnering closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, the Director will drive portfolio expansion, digital lending innovation, and operational excellence while balancing growth with disciplined risk management. This role offers the opportunity to influence enterprise strategy, accelerate member acquisition, modernize lending experiences, and deliver meaningful financial impact for the organization and its members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the long-term strategy for the unsecured lending portfolio, driving sustainable growth, market competitiveness, and member value.
  • Own portfolio performance and P&L results, including loan growth, profitability, credit quality, member satisfaction, and overall business outcomes.
  • Lead the full product lifecycle from concept and pricing strategy through enhancements, optimization, and retirement of lending products.
    Identify and pursue growth opportunities through new products, partnerships, market expansion, targeted acquisition strategies, and increased member wallet share.
  • Partner with Risk and Finance leaders to optimize underwriting, pricing, segmentation, and portfolio performance while maintaining strong risk-adjusted returns.
  • Champion digital lending innovation, enhancing application, decisioning, funding, and servicing experiences across digital and assisted channels.
  • Drive operational excellence and modernization efforts through automation, process improvements, and scalable solutions that improve efficiency and member experience.
  • Lead and develop high-performing teams while influencing senior stakeholders, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and member-focused results.

Education & Years of Experience

  • Minimum- 4 Year Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Business or Related
  • Preferred - Graduate Degree in Marketing, Business or Related
  • Minimum - 10 Years Product Development/Design, Product Management, Strategic Marketing or Related
  • Minimum - 3 Years People Management

In Lieu of Education

  • 12 Years Product Development/Design, Product Management, Strategic Marketing including people management

Compensation & Benefits:

Typical hiring range:‏‏‎ ‎ $133,700.00 to $229,200.00‎ Annually. Actual compensation will be determined using factors such as experience, skills & knowledge.
