blueStone has been retained by a large organization to assist them in their search for a Dynamics AX Software Developer.  This is a contract opportunity located in Austin, TX.   

Job Description

The Dynamics AX Software Developer has to solve technical problems and writes the actual code to build and support systems, applications, and platforms. This role is the cornerstone of the team and is responsible for designing and creating code in an agile fashion. The Dynamics AX Software Developer understands complex business logic and builds code for multi-lingual, multi-national applications. This role will interface with other project developers and architects on a global basis and ensures that designs and quality are meeting requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in IT related discipline or equivalent experience

- At least 5 years’ experience writing code

- Experience with X++, MorphX, SSRS, SSAS, and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL)

- Hands on experience in key Dynamics AX 2009 modules including    Production/Project/Inventory/Management/Master
Planning/Purchasing/Sales

- Proven understanding of security, efficient code reuse, and software design

- Ability to work in a high paced, multiple vendors global environments
