About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented E-commerce Analyst to support our growing digital business. This role is ideal for an early-career professional who thrives in data, enjoys solving complex problems, and wants to directly influence business performance.

A core focus of this role will be owning forecasting and demand planning, while also driving insights across pricing, profitability, and trade spend to support smarter, faster decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Own and continuously improve sales and demand forecasts using historical data, seasonality, promotional activity, and market trends
  • Lead demand planning cycles, aligning forecasts with sales, marketing, and supply chain
  • Identify risks and opportunities in forecast accuracy and inventory positioning

Performance & Profitability Analysis

  • Analyze e-commerce performance across SKUs and channels, with a focus on revenue, margin, and growth drivers
  • Monitor key cost components (COGS, freight, marketplace fees, returns) and their impact on profitability
  • Evaluate pricing performance and recommend strategies to balance competitiveness and margin

Trade Spend & Scenario Modeling

  • Track and optimize trade spend (discounts, promotions, marketing investments) against revenue and margin goals
  • Support scenario modeling for pricing changes, cost shifts, and marketplace dynamics

Reporting & Insights

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools (Excel, Google Sheets, BI platforms)
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics
  • Translate data into clear, actionable insights and present recommendations to leadership

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance to align on forecasts and business strategy
  • Support inventory planning and operational decision-making through data-driven insights
  • Monitor competitive landscape and emerging e-commerce trends
 

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Economics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in an analytical, finance, or data-focused role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills (modeling, forecasting, regression, scenario analysis)
  • Experience with demand planning, forecasting, or trade spend analysis preferred
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon) is a plus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly and confidently
