Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

As a Proposal Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of proposals for Government and Prime contracts, ensuring compliance, and driving business growth.
In this role, you will:
- Support the Operations portion of proposals, including proposal kickoff, estimating, Fact Finding, Negotiations, and certifying the Certified Cost or Pricing Data (CoPD) once negotiations are complete
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute proposal strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs
- Analyze and interpret complex data to inform proposal decisions, utilizing intermediate MS Excel skills to drive insights and recommendations
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risk
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, program managers, and team members, to convey complex technical information and proposal status
- Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple deadlines to meet proposal submission requirements
- Provide support for proposal development, including data gathering, analysis, and documentation
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- 8+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing for a Defense Contractor, preferably with some proposal support experience
- Intermediate MS Excel skills, including data analysis and visualization
- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and other relevant regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines to meet proposal submission requirements
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, business administration)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Knowledge of defense contracting and proposal development processes
