Job Description: 

Designs, develops, tests, and debugs software tools, flows, and methodologies used in design automation and by teams in the design of hardware products, process design, or manufacturing. Responsibilities include capturing user stories/requirements, writing both functional and test code, automating build and deployment, and/or performing unit, integration, and end-to-end testing of the software tools.

In this role you will be responsible for developing (i) Calibre runset or (ii) 3DIC extraction flows and RC Modeling on Intel's process technologies. Candidate will work with technology specification owners and validation teams in a coordinated fashion to ensure a high-quality solution. Interaction with Process Development Teams, and EDA vendors is expected on a frequent basis in order enable production level extraction solutions.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree with 5+ years or Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience in Physics, ECE or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in one of the following two skill sets:
    • Skill set 1:
      • 1) Calibre Runset Development
      • 2) StarRC or Quantus, or xACT based extraction flows, and methodologies development
    • Skill set 2
      • 3D IC Extraction flows (VIB / IDX)
      • TSV/Bump RC Modeling, Die-to-Die couplings, non-rectangular RC modeling

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in 3DBlox
  • 2+ years of experience in 3D PnR tools (3D ICC or equivalent)
  • 2+ years of experience in scripting in Perl, or Python or TCL
  • 2+ years of experience in Physical Verification/DRC/LVS/PEX/TVF
  • 2+ years of working on Unix/Linux operating system environment

Compensation will vary based on number of matching skills and number of years of relevant work experience.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US:

$196,830.00-$277,880.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.
