The consultant will work on EDI projects integrating SAP modules, focusing on 3PL EDI enablement, troubleshooting IDOC errors, and collaborating with business teams to enhance SAP order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.

KATBOTZ LLC is are seeking an experienced SAP EDI/SD/MM Functional Consultant with a deep understanding of SAP integration within SD, MM, TMS, 3PL, and FI modules. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in 3PL EDI enablement, building tight integrations with external 3PL systems, and troubleshooting IDOC errors. This role will involve close collaboration with business teams to understand and implement business process flows in SAP, especially in order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on diverse EDI projects across SAP SD, MM, TMS, and 3PL areas.
- Build and maintain integration solutions for 3PL enablement with a focus on SAP order-to-cash and procure-to-pay.
- Analyze business requirements, define functional solutions, and document technical specifications.
- Configure logical systems, ports, and partner profiles in SAP for effective data transmission.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IDOC errors for both inbound and outbound processes.
- Design and implement complex middleware integration solutions using SAP PI/PO, CPI, CIG, SCP, AS2, and other adapters.
- Work with ANSI X12 EDI (810, 850, 856, 855, 820, 204, 210, 214, 940, 945, 944, and 997) and EDIFACT document types for order-to-cash and procure-to-pay processes.
- Develop mapping specification documents for ANSI X12 EDI to SAP IDOC, CIDX XML to SAP IDOC, and other formats.
- Collaborate with EDI Developers and trading partners to address mapping-related queries.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of SAP experience, with a strong background in EDI and integration projects.
- Expertise in SAP SD and MM modules, specifically in 3PL EDI enablement.
- Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, CPI, CIG, SCP, AS2, and middleware technologies.
- Proficiency in ANSI X12 EDI and EDIFACT standards, including IDOC configuration and error analysis.
- Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and technical troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with both technical teams and business users.
