Location: Remote in AL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MO, NC, NH, OH, OK, TN, TX, WI, and WV 

This Role: 

As an EDI Specialist at LogixHealth, you will work with internal teams to provide services that will directly improve business operations. You’ll contribute to our fast-paced, collaborative environment and will bring your expertise to ensure timely filing of insurance carrier claims, bank file retrieval, statement processing, accurate Explanation of Benefits (EOB) filing, and 835 retrieval. 

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal communication, and a desire to learn. 


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Sending of 837 files and collection of 835 files 
  • Review the Insurance Carrier Reports to resolve discrepancies or incomplete claims   
  • Reconcile electronic payments by retrieving electronic bank files for each client and matching payments or denials to the corresponding insurance carrier 
  • Access and store EOBs and related documents into the Touch Chart filing software system 

Qualifications:

The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required to perform this job successfully. Required: 

  • Proficiency with MS 365 including Teams, Word, Excel, and Outlook 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Preferred: 

  • One to two years related experience 
  • Prior experience with EDI operations
