OverviewWe are seeking a highly analytical Educational Content Analyst with native-level proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia to support a short term, specialized data validation project. In this role, you will evaluate the intersection of formal academic standards and digital media. Your primary objective is to ensure data integrity by assessing the relevance and quality of online educational content within the Indonesian market.
This is a technical, research-heavy role suited for an education professional who understands how students and teachers interact with digital platforms.
Primary Responsibilities- Linguistic Data Mapping: Adapt complex academic learning objectives into localized search terms and queries that reflect native usage and cultural nuances.
- Quality Assurance: Review and audit video content to determine its pedagogical value and alignment with specific grade-level requirements.
- Data Categorization: Accurately tag and classify content based on internal guidelines, ensuring high confidence in identifying areas where content is lacking.
- Standardization: Contribute to the development of standardized evaluation frameworks that can be applied to localized content analysis.
Requirements
- Must be a native speaker of Bahasa Indonesia with professional fluency in English.
- A degree in Education, Curriculum Design, Instructional Technology, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of the Indonesian K-12 education system, including local dialects and pedagogical trends.
- Strong familiarity with video-sharing platforms and an understanding of how search algorithms surface educational material.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to distinguish between "near-relevant" and "perfectly-aligned" content.
- Proven ability to manage high-volume data tasks remotely within a fixed project timeline.
- Ability to provide clear, written rationales for content tagging decisions.
- Highly tech-savvy with the ability to manage, filter, and organize large datasets within Google Sheets or Excel.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage your own schedule, and meet strict project deadlines without daily supervision.
- Experience in EdTech, textbook publishing, or curriculum development for the Indonesian market.
- Previous experience in data labeling, content moderation, or search relevance evaluation.
- Familiarity with current Indonesian national curriculum standards.
