Position Overview

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking Electrical Engineers to support design, construction, testing, and implementation of electrical systems for complex industrial and advanced manufacturing facilities.

The Electrical Engineer will work across power distribution, facility infrastructure, equipment interfaces, grounding, lighting, controls coordination, and system commissioning while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Develop and review electrical engineering designs.
  • Review one-line diagrams, panel schedules, equipment requirements, and specifications.
  • Support low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems.
  • Perform or review load calculations and equipment sizing.
  • Coordinate electrical design with mechanical, controls, process, architectural, and structural teams.
  • Support RFIs, submittal reviews, field engineering, and construction issue resolution.
  • Participate in electrical inspections, energization, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC and project requirements.
  • Conduct site walks and verify field conditions.
  QualificationsQualificationsRequired Technical Skills
  • Professional electrical engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical distribution and facility power systems.
  • Ability to interpret one-line diagrams, schematics, drawings, and specifications.
  • Familiarity with NEC and electrical design standards.
  • Experience with equipment sizing, distribution, grounding, and electrical infrastructure.
  • Strong multidisciplinary coordination skills.
  • Ability to support field construction and commissioning activities.
Preferred Experience / Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • PE license or EIT certification.
  • Semiconductor, data center, battery, automotive, cleanroom, manufacturing, or mission-critical facility experience.
  • ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software experience.
  • Medium-voltage system experience.
  • EPC, owner-side engineering, or major capital project experience.
