We are currently seeking a detail-driven Email Designer who will play a crucial role in crafting visually compelling, conversion-focused email campaigns for our portfolio of wellness brands. This role requires an eye for design, an understanding of email marketing best practices, and the ability to create within brand guidelines while optimizing for performance.

What You Bring to the Table

  • 2–4 years of email design experience, ideally within DTC brands and/or digital agencies.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating high-performing, visually engaging email design.
  • Mastery of Canva for designing headers, banners, product callouts, and GIFs.
  • Deep understanding of branding consistency including layout, typography, and color usage.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across departments and communicate design decisions clearly.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, multi-brand environments with short turnarounds.
  • Working knowledge of email marketing best practices, including mobile responsiveness and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with image-to-text balance, alt text, and deliverability-conscious design.
  • Experience using project management tools like Monday is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design visually engaging email creatives in Canva that align with client brand guidelines.
  • Ensure consistent branding across all emails, including colors, fonts, imagery, and layout.
  • Design with mobile responsiveness in mind to ensure emails display well on all devices.
  • Create email headers, product callouts, lifestyle imagery, banners, and occasional GIFs using Canva.
  • Understand the objective of each email, such as product promotion, welcome series, or cart recovery.
  • Design for conversion by placing CTAs strategically and using persuasive visuals.
  • Work closely with the Email Department to visually support the messaging hierarchy.
  • Optimize for deliverability by balancing image-to-text ratios, using proper alt text, and avoiding spammy design elements.
  • Apply accessibility best practices, including appropriate contrast ratios and alt text.
  • Stay current with email marketing trends and design best practices, such as interactivity, minimalist layouts, and dark mode compatibility.
  • Deliver designs within fast-paced agency timelines while managing multiple brands at once.
  • Prioritize fast turnaround times while maintaining high-quality standards and attention to detail.
  • Use templating, modular design, and Canva folders to streamline workflows and meet deadlines.
  • Incorporate feedback quickly and effectively, often across multiple stakeholders.
  • Maintain version control and keep designs well organized to avoid errors.
  • Suggest improvements when designs underperform, contributing to ongoing optimization.
  • Use project management tools like Monday to track deadlines and deliverables.
  • Stay flexible and organized when handling last-minute client changes or overlapping deadlines.

Job Type

  • Part-time with an opportunity to go Full-time (20/40 Hours a week)
  • Available to work during Eastern Time
  • Remote position with the potential for occasional on-site/off-site retreats
